I have only seen the beginning of the 6th Anniversary stream and I am already more than happy to just hear the words "We wanna stop dreaming big and just straight up say what comes when"

Like actually in the midst of all the hate the community always gives the devs, I feel sorry for them they achieved something great and made a fun game but their ambition was always a slight road block in many situations but I won't lie I still love all the devs and the work they are doing.

    I don't think many people understand what an odd duck DbD is.

    APvP games are niche.

    Horror is niche.

    For a horror APvP game to become so popular, to the point that it's almost a cultural touchstone at this point is pretty damned amazing.

    It can be frustrating when bizarro changes are made (still salty about the Wraith nerfs) but, even compared to a year ago, this game continues to improve.

    It's so popular because they struck a goldmine with the gameplay, not because they're extremely competent developers.
