AND THANK GOD FOR THAT

Map layout accuracy bros... we lost.
2 -
Breakable walls incoming. Hell yeah!
4 -
That one poster from long ago who got huffy whenever people complained about RPD is probably salty.
2 -
Goody. It was always going to be way too big for a DBD map. I'm surprised nobody with any power had that thought too...
I get wanting to be true to the source but there are things that have to be changed to work for DBD (hence why we have no rocket launcher in the game).

While you are here Karu, I am sorry for what you might do after the stream ends
2 -
This isn't a victory! I love this map! People just didn't really give it a chance.
1 -
Of course it's not a victory if you are not a victor. ;)
1 -
Yup.
May I ask...why?
0 -
Quite sad.
The "I dont like this thing so I will complain about it until it is changed"-mentality won again.
2 -
It's a great map....for Resident Evil.

...That's what feedback is, certainly?
RPD has been a widely hated map for a while now. The amount of times someone just straight up DCs/AFKs on loading in here is quite something.
It wasn't quite as one sided as Haddonfield or Badham was/is, but it just seems to be a map that rubs a lot of folks up the wrong way.
4 -
It's different than that, I think.
There's not been many things that have united Killers and Survivors like their hatred of RPD.
5 -
Nah, this is just the DBD-Community.
You know, you dont get RPD a lot. I would guess I get the Map every 100 games. And I am fine with that, I dont really like this Map, but it is different.
But the Community is always complaining non-stop about something until it is changed. And then they hop on the next thing. Like a bunch of spoiled kids.

Oh great, can't wait for another tiny killer-sided indoor map to get dragged to every time someone wants an easy 4k
0 -
Okay, so we'd have what, the fourth Killer-sided map?
3 -
Normally, I'd agree with you, but this map is abysmal lol.
4 -
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! PLS DONT!!!!
*cries*
2 -
Good. Leave that old version in the mud. Horrible to play for both sides.

Love the map it just feels so difficult to find paths to things even knowing the map its like it just does not feel good as killer. Love it as surv.

Or, you know, people are passionate about wanting to improve the things they like?
I get RPD far more than every 100 games. It's not as ubiquitous as Swamp or Farm, but I see it plenty - and I groan a little whenever I do.
But okay - what exactly do you have against fixing the map up? If you don't see it much, this shouldn't bother you and if you don't like it, why not improve it?

The whole point of feedback on bad game design choices is to get it changed for the better, not to cross fingers and hope that it doesn't show up too often.
3 -
Greeeeeat !!! We already have no more new maps, we lose some, we don't have all the reworks, but they will still waste months to rework something ALREADY present in the game !
1 -
As I said, it is just the mentality.
And I wont change my mind on that one. The endless complaints until a thing is changed are annoying.

We’re getting a new map this update
0 -
Let's not do this here. This is one of the rare maps that has had support from both Killers and Survivors to bulldoze.
3 -
Still happy. Before, we had ONE card per chapter - almost. Now ? Sarcastic laugh.

I really hope they focus on fixing the performance issues on that map. It causes the most out of any map in the game.
0 -
Yeah, godforbid that people provide feedback on the forums designed for giving feedback.
Nothing should be changed, ever.
0 -
Normally I'd agree with you but I do think you're off with this one
Yes there's a lot of pointless whining in the forum, and you can see me criticizing it a lot, but RPD is a horrible map for DBD and not suited for the game. I can't even say "horribly designed" because it's a 1:1 copy, it's just not a good map for this game, and a rework hopefully will change that
