Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, do not ######### up Wesker and the Resident Evil chapter again. Do not do it. And also remake Nemesis still. It wouldn't be an excuse for that failure. Get it right the first time. I don't want the biggest horror game franchise and my favorite game franchise ever to be screwed over again like the first time in a game I have been asking for it to be in for years.

You'll set yourself up for a disappointment if you expect a 100% accurate to source material chapter since some things are very likely to be changed in some way for the sake of balance or for thematic reasons, that's why you will never get a rocket launcher for nemesis or Nemesis getting his kit from RE mastermind no matter how much you beg for it.

Lucky for you I never and never wanted 100% accuracy. I just want him to still be accurate since Wesker CAN fit in DBD with his powers when balanced correctly just like a rocket launcher and a sprint.

I wonder what Wesker's power would even be. All I remember is he has tentacles and a gun but I don't think they'll do another tentacle cause nemesis but I don't think they'll do a gun.

He has super speed basically. He is like the flash. He literally dodges bullets.

Look at his moveset in games like Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
He has stuff like super strength & speed, teleporting and that's just him personally - it's entirely possible he has another gimmick alongside that. Maybe cameras like in the teaser trailer or maybe some one of the biohazard creatures. In Code Veronica he unleashes monsters to hunt down Chris and Claire for example

Rocket Launcher is not even a balance issue, it's a matter of fact that it doesn't thematically fit in a game like DBD since there are no guns in the game in general aside from deathslinger, but even his gun was created in a extremely specific way.
Even Cote has said in past interviews that there was no plans to add a rocket launcher to his kit since like i said, DBD has no guns besides Deathslingers harpoon gun and that the only discussion there was about it at all was maybe adding it to the mori, so yes, even they don't agree with you. But i guess to you non of that matter as the only thing you care about is accuracy and will disregard any other aspects.

I doubt the monster thing due to how rough the zombies ai are for Nemesis but cameras seem interesting. Also doesn't Wesker throw a missile in umvc3?

It really depends on if they go with Super Speed Wesker or Oroboros Wesker. I hope for the former over the later

He does! But that's actually based on his boss fight from RE5
I think either Chris tries to shoot him with a rocket and Wesker catches it and throws it back or something along those lines

So he would probably be a mobility killer then. I haven't played RE5 nor have I watched it but I just hope they don't mess him up.

Yep. He can have a really nice feeling type of movement. Really smooth probably. RE5 as a game... Well it's mixed for a lot of people. Some really like it and some hate it. 1 undeniable thing though is Wesker is such a badass and cool villain. He deserves the most respect possible because he is the most iconic main villain in RE.

What exactly do you want from his sprinting and strength?
You want him to bust through breakable walls with no cooldown or just run through everything and easily get a hit on survivors?
or maybe you want him to be able to scale buildings like in RE3 with a long distant sprint jump?
Because that's what bringing in Nemesis kit from RE3 would be like if it was 100% faithful and i can safely tell you with a straight face that for a game like DBD, those types of power would get severely dumped down or changed in some way to even remotely be called balance.

I literally just told you I'm not looking for 100% accuracy. All I want is those abilities to be in his power at some form. Specifically the rocket and the sprint. Even if he was the worst killer in the game I just want those in the game in his power. That's all I've ever asked for.

The Dash is the only realistic thing that can potentially happen, although I think the most likely way that they would ever incorporate it into his kit would be by giving him an addon pass and change some of the addons to be increasing his speed from some means and requirement, because i highly doubt they'll straight up rework and replace his existing powers.

I think you are going to be disappointed again. The idea of Wesker being beaten by a rock and some pallets is pretty laughable when you look at what he can do according to resident evil lore. However for game balance reasons he is going to have to be limited to be fair.

You say that as if that's what made me disappointed about Nemesis. What disappoints me is when the power has nothing really to do with the character. Look at Nemesis. The only thing Nemesis' power has to do with Nemesis is him simply HAVING the tentacle. Wesker needs to be done better.

No. Sorry a things existence isn't an argument for being unbalanced or not available in a game.
Literally anything can be in a game and be balanced if they chose to balance it. I mean hell resident evil brought us flashbangs, granted they are basically firecrackers...I agree with the bit that nothing can be 100% accurate of course but can we stop pretending that the existence of something is an argument against for it being a thing.

It's not. He's not really even a possible option. I'm not saying that because I don't want him because I wouldn't really mind him because I like Ethan but trust me, they will not choose him when Capcom hasn't officially revealed his face.

I am scared we will get Volcano Wesker and not actual Wesker, and then I am scared he will try to be less viable than Dredge. Lots of fear. Which is what DBD is all about.

As I've said hundreds of times in the past, I am perfectly fine with whatever balancing choices they make. I don't care about any of it. I just wanted Nemesis to have certain abilities in some form in his power and I want Wesker to be how Wesker should be. I just want his abilities to be there.

I doubt they'll use volcano Wesker. I've made some posts before on what licenses it seems DBD has based on the content it had in the first chapter. I came to the conclusion they have 2R, 3R, 4, and 5. It will probably be Wesker from 5 but I don't think you should worry that it would be the final boss variant. It will most likely be badass Neo Wesker. The only thing we have to be worried about is if the power accurately represents him.

As long as he has his abilities depending on the version they choose then I won't have any big complaints. That would be up to the rest of it then like the models and survivors.
That would actually be a badass power. Some may say it's silly but adding just a normal gun to DBD would be so fun.

I guess his powers will come with some CD, i just hope it's not the ouroboros one since I dislike it so much, and it was a nerf 🤣
Also if they are really making RE4 remake, we may en up getting a remake version of Wesker with who knows which powers.
I just want him to be fun, dangerous without being op and whose powers are well represented while adapted to this game! 😃

Honestly once Wesker started getting super powers, that's when I felt the franchise lost its way. Wesker doing bullets, Chris punching boulders, Leon crashing a helicopter without anyone dying. It's suppose to be resident evil not devil may cry.

Tho we don't know how long it will take to be announced. By the time we see something about Wesker, Capcom could have published info about it.
I think it's weird seeing Leon, Jill and Nemesis being from the remake and then original Wesker (even more sharing the same world in the trailer). Also if they add Ada, I bet she'll be from the remake too.
I guess The Can grab ppl from different worlds/ timelines, but still.
Obviously those are just my thoughts and I'll probably be wrong 🤣
