Never had this happen before, looks pretty funny.
Even without this bug, you can hit people on hills

But doesn't the flight path look massive? I don't remember it being that big.
Also I was able to recreate this bug multiple times

Yeah, it looks dubiously big.
Maybe it's a new bug? I haven't played that much DbD recently

pretty sure the bird doesnt follow the hill further away after the" damage" path. But ye seems like a bug but not really something gamebreaking tbh.
2 -
Kinda is power breaking. means you cant place a bird next to the hill to hit someone

Have you submitted a bug report? Havent seen this before and I used to play her a lot

Birds are designed to follow the terrain within the damage range.
1 -
Yes but that only applies to ramps/stairs. Not direct uphills.

That looks hilarious. I play a lot of Artist and I don't think that's intended. You can shoot birds to hit people on hills, but the flight path shouldn't be looking like that. It seems that Artist has been having a lot of weird bird placement issues lately.

Says who?

how it works on every other spot on the maps
.If I go in coal tower and put a crow on top where the path is out the window it doesn't just dive down.
if I put one facing off the side of a dock on the swamp maps the path doesn't dive down.
Or if I put a crow on the side of the swamps main building the path doesn't shoot up.

would you want to fix this bug?
I can think of many situations where I was a killer who I wished could attack a survivor up a hill, all while they teabag me as I have to traverse all the way around it.

You could already hit a survivor on a hill with a crow. The crow flight path showed it going through the hill, but it would still swarm a survivor if you shot it. It basically was a guaranteed hit because you would just send another to damage or M1 the survivor if they fell from the hill.
I would definitely want this bug fixed (if it is a bug) because it would be annoying if I tried to shoot a crow through a hill to a gen and it take the higher flight path because the crow won't hit the survivor on the gen then. Especially in these photos, the crow flight path looks like its super high, so it would definitely fly over their heads. It's not a situation that would happen a bunch, but would definitely be annoying if you had to take some extra precious seconds to divert around a hill so the flight path doesn't get affected.

Mounds are slopes. Some sides are too steep to run up but still a slope.
