I honestly love the new main menu. It looks great and looks like now it's going to make different language support easier,which is great. Why do people hate it so much?
I swear if you tell me about "dead space" every single bloody menu ever has tons of it for the sake of eye candy.

I like the menu because it’s a lot more streamline and just nicer, everything nice on a row, would also like if they had an option where you could scroll between the options like many console games with this kind of hud setup, would make it easier for console.

I hope there's gonna be an ingame ad space for stuff like DbD: Hooked on You, David King bodypillow and a tracker which shows how many Nea's are in your area.

I like it a lot too. Looks much cleaner and makes the themed menu and my killer more visible

I dont see the benefit if the screen just gets more trashed. All the things were nicely sorted at the bottom, the screen was clean. now its just trashed for at least 1/3 of the screen.

I wish we could keep lobby backgrounds from the past though like the Halloween ones

I think it's just a knee-jerk reaction to change.
Personally, I think it's fine. I can't say it looks nicer than the old one, but I don't think it's worse, either; just more of a standard game menu. The background still looks cool, and that's what matters imo.

Some people don't like changes. Besides, the current one fits DBD's aesthetic better. The new one loos way too, modern. But don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against it.

I dont dislike it at all, I just think its a lot less unique than the original one.

I think it looks really nice actually, think I prefer it to the old one, but some people are very unopen to any change, they won't say it in such a way, but any change is enough to make someone upset, even if it's for the better of the game overall (see; Mori change).

I get this argument but if it impedes accessibility with some languages,I think it's better to change it.

I really like it. It's clean and concise; I am dumb and somes when looking for one of the options on the bottom of the menu (smaller icons) I choose the wrong one lmao. Also I love what is going to (eventually) come with it: displaying the time left in the archives, the bloodpoint incentive, etc.
Also they can play around with displaying stuff moreso in the middle/the right-hand side of the screen. Not saying I want this format to come to dbd, but my s/o plays Smite and Smite's menu is vertical and to the left, which allows them to showcase skins and other content in the middle, and a small "News" section in the top right hand corner. (I will say I'm not sure I would want skins showcased in the middle, I prefer seeing the Killer and the survivors and the unique backgrounds we get with midchapters. Smite does that because it's a free-to-play game and makes its money moreso on skins, where obviously DbD isn't free to play and there's various different ways for them to make money). May have not been the best example, but it was what was on my mind when I thought of similar layouts

I like the new ui. It's less cluttered, easier to navigate, and having the background easier to see is nice as well.

People usually aren't open to change. "Usually", so I'm not talking about everyone. To the contrary, I tend to be excited by changes... So I don't even know which one I prefer. I just like things being fresh and the new UI is perfectly fine in that sense to me.
