I can't play Nurse without recharge add-ons.
I just can't, she feels so slow and telegraphed without them, I pretty much never make mistakes with her nowadays but having to wait for her second blink to come back feels so terrible. I don't know what could be done to remedy this since she's already super op, but if they ever remove those add-ons I'll be a little sad.

Nurse without add-ons would truly be limited to people who put an obscene amount of time into her.
I play with the yellow recharge add-on no matter what. Months away from even considering taking it off.

limit power usage = limit skill-ceiling on her. I mean that is what they do with every other killer. can't have those killer's expressing their skills.

They don't have to limit frequency, they can just make it jarring to use which they already do.

Used to Main Nurse her gameplay was so smooth now she got nerfed into the ground and people still calling for nerf.I think she should be a little faster to be honest.

By Jarring, I assume you mean weakened the killer's power potency. For example, you can make Nurse's blink have longer travel time by slowing her phase-time and longer charge time, so you "react" to her blinks. You can also put a blink indicator for survivor. such changes would destroy nurse completely. with other killers, they generally weaken their potency. Its just with nurse, they don't know how to weaken her potency/choose not to do that, instead they attack killer's time efficiency. Its little bit like Nemesis 3 health-state Vaccines.
I'd say with other killer, its both potency and time efficiency. that is why most of the other killers feel very weak, too many drawbacks.

What I'm saying is her power is okay being frequent because it's already jarring. A fully charged blink can net you like 5 meters if the right obstacles are in your path. Several maps you cannot blink down because of getting sicked through the floor.
Her learning curve is because the power is so hard to grasp the minutia. Jarring.

I play on console without addons but my problem is I can't hit survivors when they loop a car. I miss 80% of my blinks on those Haddonfield cars and 50% on pallets... by the time I blink to the other side of the pallet they already jumped back. can't wait for those new bots.

I could probably play without them, but why would I do that when I have 2 perfectly good add-on slots open right there for using? They just make her feel like less of a floating sim. Nothin wrong with that.

Omega, no. Range addons, yes and its +10meters more but you have to charge a second longer.

Play her more? It's possible to get good games without add-ons but it takes a lot of training (or inexperienced opponents)
I usually play without add-ons because I'd rather improve my mind games and predictions than win. I still will my fair share of matches. Granted I've played her for years.

This is the reason why I personally don't use Add-Ons on killers. I get used to playing with them and then when all of my Add-Ons run out, I can't play the killer anymore lmao

If you really don't know what he's talking about: if you're a pc player and have a public steam account, you can check your personal number of stats on dbd.onteh.net.au
Those stats are taken from your steam achievements because even when the achievement is completed, the counter keeps going up. And one of the achievements is to get 500 blink attacks

They are referencing the stat. It's something only Steam players can see, iirc.

Egg sent the site but it doesn't actually let me look myself up individually, or go beyond the generic stats. I swear I'm trying. I checked my steam achievements and while I can see I unlocked it shortly after I started maining Nurse (end of January), I cannot see what I have gotten past the 500 required for the achievement.

Its very slow. There's another website that shows the same statistics and it's faster, but i don't remember the name because I've always just used onteh for stuff like the shrine too.

Not too long, but I have been playing her almost exclusively since end of January. There can be times where I don't queue for 2 weeks and then I play 10 games a day for 3 days straight or something, it's all over the place.

I challenge you to play nurse with no addons and only 2 perks of your choice for a month straight and I promise you will be mopping the floor by the end of the month if you endure the hazing you'll get for the first couple weeks you'll notice a big difference in your ability with her, this is how I remastered her after she was nerfed

Double range addon combo honestly makes Nurse much more trivial.
I am a Nurse main, and when I tried those addons after somebody said that Omega Blink is back, and holy #########. Those addons break the Nurse and make her straight overpowered.

No worries, its just people who think if they kick and scream enough they can get their way. In the end of the day they will never be happy.
Nurse has gone through many changes that these crybabies were fine with unill they started killed by Nurses again.
They add a 3 second recharge to every blink. Then you see Otz calling three blinks OP when she used to have 5 with zero cooldown after fatigue. They think fast blinks are broken when the very addon that did that years ago was never once complained about.
Its a moving goalpost that I wish more people would stand up and defend.
Survivors nowadays are so bad it hurts. Running predictable patterns then crying when it does work. 😮💨

I pretty much only play Nurse now, that being said, I think she's op and should get some kind of nerf, even if it affects my enjoyment I think no one should be subjected to playing against a Nurse that mercilessly slugs and kills.

Then don't play like that. Any killer can slug and kill. Hell, I did that yesterday with Pig. 4 man slug.
You can say your a Nurse main. But what you said is what others said 2 years ago. That they were happy with the changes and she was fair now. How the goalpost moves. How things are never enough. Even if it ruins your enjoyment? Yeah, say that to Spirit. Say that to Billy. Keep holding the hands of those that don't want to think while they run pallet to pallet.

Recharge is very good but it's still good to learn to play without it, I don't player her with recharge which means I have to wait a few seconds after fatigue before I can blink but that's about it. It'll probably feel terrible after taking it off but it's always best to learn a killer without add ons to play them to the best extent.
