Getting rid of Dead Hard
I don't use the perk much myself, mainly for archive challenges when they're there. But okay sure, let's say Dead Hard was removed as a whole or just nerfed cuz it rewards bad gameplay. Then remove/nerf NOED as well, because it does the exact same thing.
And don't pull the "just do bones argument" because some (not all) killers get pissy at survivors for making the same argument of "Just bait it out"
It's fair, remove the two perks that reward bad gameplay, everyone wins.
Or how about we all wait til' the actual rework! That's a better solution, because honestly, Dead Hard was already said to be getting a rework along with other perks on both ends, they're going to be changing the meta. I've only seen a few good solutions for reworking DH.
Ex; Make it to where survivors can't use a pallet for 3/4/5 seconds after usage.
But then you have others wanting to just completely get rid of the perk, so just wait it out, it's a waste of breath, it's not something that needs immediate action, because it's not game breaking, just like NOED isn't game breaking. Neither need immediate action unless people's games are crashing like with the old COH bug.

I will gladly trade NOED for Dead Hard, you have yourself a deal.

Awesome, glad to hear it 👍

Also I do like your idea for the change of being unable to use pallets, I would say just turn off interactions after the use of Dead Hard in general for that 3/4/5 seconds, but thats me.

That's a very unfair deal (NOED isn't that good, while DH is the most overpowered Perk in the game), but I'll take it

Better than nothing, it gets rid of a perk survivors complain about, while also getting rid of a perk killers complain about
I know that NOED isn't OP but gotta please the masses

Jeez people still think NOED is busted? It's lame and stupid sure but I don't seem to ever see it.

I can't take credit for the deal, it was someone else's idea ^^
But I understand the whole interactions things, but windows and pallets are the core one I saw

I agree those are the core, it just seems easier to disable interactions in general is all, from a game design and programming standpoint.

Yeah, but I see other survivors complain about it like it happens every game
Again, it's not all, but enough to take notice of, if you have a different suggestion though, the thread is open for discussion ^^

I think it's because the killer can go a whole game without getting a single hook, and by endgame turn the game on its head and get a 2k/3k or possibly a 4k

But wouldn't DH make people more likely to take NOED? As it makes you far more likely to not get anyone to death hook.
Personally never even used either perk but played against both. NOED is annoying, but at least it isn't every game. DH is just outright broken in some circumstances, but most people I play against using it tend to mess it up 50%of the time. But that doesn't make it any less powerful.

Good point, that's why if both are removed and/or nerfed, the survivors that complain about NOED will be dealt with until another perk that they want removed/nerfed is done and vice versa.
Because no matter what happens, people are going to find the next thing to complain about for the opposing side, majority (obviously not everyone we have a couple good apples) of the people believe the 'us vs. them' argument, when the game is doing a lot better in trying to balance. Will it be perfect? Definitely not, but it's like now that the devs are attempting to make an effort, the posts keep coming, that's my entire reasoning for adding that bit at the end of the post where it's like "just wait for the mass rework."
It's sad but true
