Why do people do this every single bp event?
Seriously. Every time I play during a blood hunt, it's always mass tunneling mass slugging killers, mass genrushing survivors, selfish teammates, EVERY GAME. Seriously, I've had 5 facecamping Bubba's today. It just seems like people just want themselves and nobody else to have points. Play how you want, but when you purposely play to ruin other people matches you are just being a scumbag.

I really don’t ever see a difference whether an event is going or not. Maybe more BPS and cakes being offered, but that’s about it. The frequency of scummy play styles seems no more or less common. 🤷🏼♂️

I always let the last survivor go during events and burn all my bonus bp offerings. Be the change you wanna see.

The last three games in a row I've been second last to die and I've spectated all three times and seen the last survivor walking around with a crow or two above their head lol two hadnt even been hooked once. I sit there cheering on the killer lmao killers are being killers but team mates are terrible wow

Before crossplay, and before people got so jaded. 3+ BPS and fun memey games were common. It's a shame those days are gone.

I genuinely hate that turning crossplay off means you can only be matched with people on the same platform who also have crossplay turned off.

It*s not only the killer but teammates as well. They aren't great before, but during the blood hunt they just get worse. Hiding and not taking heat, only unhooking fast to milk you, sandbagging you. Almost. Every. Single. Game. Fun times :)

This is why I don't play during the extra BP events. It's tempting but either don't play survivor or just play killer if you want to farm during it. Or don't play at all which is what I opt to do.
Idc enough about this game to put time into it and go against man child trolls who face camp and be toxic in end game chat to ruin events for the community.

Oh, yeah, absolutely. I have had to HEAVY slug to extract points out of the survivors. It is harder than trying to 4k them. Lol.

So you're saying every 2x bp event is people playing the same as they always do? Because that sounds like your average match to me. Sometimes you never know what you're going to get when you see 5 cakes. You could get a chill killer, chill survivors, or just 4 SWF players who are, in every way, not using those cakes for you, and you'll be able to tell.

I've said this many times but if you fantasize about your opponent purposefully trying to ruin your fun then you'll only upset yourself every time.
What you list is just gameplay, it may be gameplay that upsets you but that's a you issue not a game issue.

The BP event along with the Tome Savior challenge have made playing horrible. Killers are hard-tunneling and survivors are doing instant hook rescues in the killer's face without BT. Sure this type of thing happens at times, but atm it has reached new levels.

Killers have to play accordingly to all the BS survs bring with BP events. Everyone acts like douchebags when they roll around.

Nah I'd rather get my hook BP's and BBQ stacks but...
I'll say one thing I never cried over being slugged and bled out, I just crawl for dear life and try to hide in the long grass, its thematic.
If you do die in game at least try to die with dignity as its only a game and again what you described is just game play.
Feelings are personal and if you get triggered by this kind of gameplay, then like I said that's a you problem.
I like the way you say in your OP "play how you want" but then qualify that statement with "but if you do this you're a scumbag", purely on the basis that you are antagonizing yourself over imagined targeted play intended to ruin your fun.

That's why I stopped lvl up survivors while there are cakes in bloodweb. I was tunneled while I brought a cake so many times and got nothing. As killer I don't have this problem.

This is why I don't play during events. I played a little today and all I got was a hacking Spirit, A tunneling Clown, and a couple of other killers who camped. I've had enough after the Clown match and just quit for the rest of the day. I might as well stick to playing killer until this event is done.

Yup, I just let a survivor go because they got caught twice back to back at the beginning, then get t-bagged for it by said survivor, will no longer be letting anyone go for the remainder of the event.
It's a 2 way street, but survivors just can't resist being toxic.

But the caveat of this is you are assuming all those playstyles you listed are someone purposefully trying to ruin your fun, but that's completely unfounded.
All you do in your OP is list a bunch of gameplay that you don't like and then imply anyone who does those things is purposefully ruining your fun and is a scumbag.
The problem is you expect people to play DBD a certain way, even moreso when its 2x bloodpoints, and if they don't then they are purposefully trying to ruin your fun and are scumbags.
All those things are just people playing a game, no one is out to spoil your fun you ego maniac.

My suggestion is stop getting your nickers in a twist about gameplay and just play it out. Also stop attacking other players because you didn't get what you wanted in game.
You'd have a lot more fun, and probably be a lot more fun, if you stopped imagining other people's gameplay to be a purposeful attack on your fun.

Heavy slugs barely gives bp even when all escape you get more. Just terrible tactics if you want bp. Tunneling and camping works usually well thought.

If survivors bring cakes and you dominate the game you don't have to be toxic. You can play it fairly so they can get some points too as they gave you lot of free bp.

I would run DS but I have a broken tv with lines on it and most of the time the DS spawns on the lines so I can't hit it 😭
