SWF and MMR
Hey all!
I'm new to the forums and I have a question. I couldn't find information if playing in SWF affects my MMR.
I have been playing for a while but my friends are much more experienced than me and I was wondering if playing with better players affects my MMR. It feels like when I play solo, I'm way out of my league. Is my MMR boosted or am I just bad compared to people at my rating?

Based on the team you should be facing killers that are higher mmr than yourself. If so, then your mmr should also increase with each escape more so than if playing against a killer at your mmr or lower.

If your friends are more experienced you will always be killers target to tunnel you out of the game.

So that would mean playing with my friends boosts my MMR, which would make sense. Thanks for answering!

Oh I don't mind it when I play with friends. Would be kinda odd for the killer to ignore me when I'm so bad. :D Problem is when I'm solo and teammates are a lot better and I feel like I'm constantly dragging them down. :(

If your friends make you play vs a killer with higher mmr and also makes sure you escape then your rating will get higher than it should be. If you escape vs a killer with higher mmr your own mmr rises faster - at least to my knowledge.
So yes, when you play solo later on you will face better opponents than you probably should.
