How will the Stranger Things teachables work with the Prestige & Progression rework?

Tl;dr: Prestige 1 unlocks the character teachables on all characters at level 1, Prestige 2 at level 2, Prestige 3 at level 3.
When the Stranger Things characters were removed, their teachables were turned into generic perks. What happens if you level one of the Stranger Things characters to Prestige 1, 2, or 3?
For example: If I level Demogorgon to Prestige 1, do I unlock the perk "Jolt" on all Killer characters or is that not the case?
The Stranger Things perks seem to exist in a weird in-between state of being teachables but at the same time not being teachables, as they are available as generic perks as well.

Probably work like the Prestige will. And automatically unlock the generic perks on all characters.

Did they say you automatically unlock generic perks? I would assume we would still need to get generic perks from the bloodweb like normal.
I hope if you have demo/steve/nancy you get the effects of them prestiging.
