Holy #########, I never thought of that. Luckily, I don't think it happens enough to make a statistical difference, but still. I never thought about the fact that the data can be skewed by hackers.

It sucks but there's no way to stop it, as soon as it gets fixed they find another way in, it will always be like this unless they recode the entire game from the ground up and have built in auto ban for things that are clearly impossible to do without hacks.

I luckily see no Hackers. Thats another positive not being high MMR.
As they always win they should have one of the highest MMRs in game.

I'm not enough of a techy to comment on what BHVR should do, but you're right about recoding. That's simply not going to happen. The resources that would take just aren't worth it.
Several months ago, a friend of mine got into a fight with someone on DBD, and they got mad and told him "I'm going to hack your #########." A couple of weeks later, he had problems with something (don't remember what), but he wondered if it was that guy making good on his promise. Don't know. Point is, you never know who you're playing against. Someone might be a really petty ######### who also happens to know how to hack.

Why load any game? Hacking is not unique to DBD.
I have run into WAY more hackers in games like Fall Guys, Fortnite, and the new Evil Dead game - 8 hackers in 11 matches in Evil Dead.
4,500 hours in DBD and I THINK I have faced maybe a dozen hackers... two of those were the same person back to back like 7 months ago.
Hackers/Cheaters suck, but unfortunately with the world being what it is...idiots are everywhere online. I mean seriously I have ran into more cheaters in frickin Fall Guys than DBD... eyeroll. FALL GUYS! LOL! If you want to game without cheaters...unfortunately nowadays you will have to play solo or on a LAN with friends.

The actual answer is that they didn't. Those killers are bots; it's fully automated. They just turn on a program and then go watch youtube videos or something.
Also, for any non-subtle cheater, it's not about playing Dead By Daylight, it's about getting attention. They want to bait reactions out of people.

I see one or two per week, survivors hacking, but not as obvious as this one. Stuff like teleporting, or just modded stats like running speed, or repair/healing speeds.

Anecdotally, I've seen more hackers lately too. Rarely, I've faced a couple who were obviously hacking like in the clip, but those hackers played a full match and goofed off and usually let everyone go.
