How often do you locker?

I never really locker ever unless I suspect bbq. But my friends do it very regularly. I see it as high risk high reward and if I'm stealth try to hide in places that won't get me insta grabbed. But it seems to work for them.

When I'm killer I'm honestly surprised how often I find people in random lockers, like it's just an instant down why would you hide when you can run?

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong. When do you guys hide? How long do you typically hide? If a killer is close do you ever lose your cool and escape early or stay and pray that they don't pull you out?

Ill do it if Im trying to stay hidden from bbq, and when I do I sit in the locker for about 4 seconds after the person gets hooked. The only exception being if the killer is huntress, then I never get in lockers in case of funny locker perk. Other than if im about to go down and theres nothing near by Ill hop in a locker to avoid a swing and waste a big more time.

I do wish there were more powerful mechanics involving using lockers for survivors, if only to increase the chance they will interact with them at all.

Only when we're down to a 3v1 or 2v1 and I'm trying to hide from BBQ. Way too risky for the reward otherwise.

I won't stealth to the point that I'm out of position and taking a free M1 if I get found. I'll make the killer look for me, but I'm not going to screw myself over if they find me. There's a good balance between too stealthy and too aggressive.

We better keep using lockers until the dredge hyjacks them

Usually during the endgame if I'm dead on hook, Killers are way less likely to check lockers when there are gates to be protected

    Or if I'm running Flashbang

I will in a 2v1 to avoid BBQ. Other than that, not very often at all. I don't usually run locker perks as survivor (just not really my thing) and if I get in a locker at any other point it's more likely I'm just doing it to avoid a swing/buy an extra second or two before going down (or juke bubba's chainsaw) and not because I'm trying to hide.

Lockers can be really useful especially when the killer is running aura perks/ add ons.

Lockers saved my life many times from being found and rancored.

I'm gonna keep it real with you guys, this locker thing is kind of spooky. I'm not sure if I have the mettle for this.

Almost never, unless I'm injured and the killer is near or there's BBQ.

Every time my flash bang is up or I want to do a head on play. I used to hide in lockers all the time when I first started playing but now I am very confrontational with killers and don't usually try to hide from them. All depends on the situation too.

I run Head On and Deception, so I'm in and out of lockers frequently.

If we're losing and I think the killer has BBQ. If I'm getting attacked by a chainsaw, just on the off chance it works. If I'm doing a challenge where you have to hide within 10m of the killer for a certain amount of time. Otherwise, I feel like it's almost always better to hide behind an object instead.

I can't count how many times I'm chasing a survivor and break chase to reload and low and behold I find another survivor hiding in a locker lol....that actually scares me because I'm not expecting that.

When the 2nd last survivor is being hooked so I can hide and hopefully find hatch.

I don't normally use lockers otherwise although I did try and use them twice recently to evade a tunneling killer to nullify the injured moans. They did not see my enter it and I had sufficient distance where they couldn't be sure where I was. Not sure if it's a bug currently (and perhaps its specific to Disturbed Ward) but the killers could easily hear me moaning within the locker. So lockers are very bad even for that purpose.

all the time when unhooked, even if I dont have DS, most killers will assume you do if you locker right in front of them. The true deception.

Grabbing a survivor outta a locker should reload your hatchets and knives

Honestly, I rarely do it. It's an instant down. I usually only do it to hide while the last person is about to die on a hook and I can't get to them. But even then, I tend to just crouch behind something.

Very rarely and primarily for the locker perks (Head On, Flashbang, etc)

Only if I know the killer has BBQ&C and the second last survivor is being hooked. This way I have a chance of saving them without giving myself away. If there is more than two of us left I don't bother hiding

Most of the time, just to use Felix's perk to refill a Toolbox.

Occasionally I'll run Head On and Flash Bang for killer annoyance shenanigans. But other than that, never. I can't be bothered to hide in lockers from BBQ. I'd rather just use Distortion and keep working on a generator.

If I'm running head on I will but other than that I don't evade bbq I welcome the chase if they decide to come to me and I just stay on the gen.

Not often. I'll do it to avoid BBQ in a situation where I really don't want to get caught (gen near done, death hook, second-last survivor), or to avoid a Doctor's Static Blast at the start of the game. Other than that, I might do it if I'm on death hook and someone brings the killer near me, or in a gate check scenario.
