New Prestige System
Alright, if some of you guys watched the 6th and saw the new grind system
I'm really glad they are making the first 3 prestige for every character unlocking a tier of their perks to everyone.
Getting all those 250+ perks will be less frustrating, right ?
Now here is the issue, I've been playing Dead By Daylight since they released the Nurse, since then I've played a lot. I have currently more then 5,5k hours
With all those hours, I am not really glad to say that ALL my survivors AND killers are Prestige 3 Level 50 !
Which means that when they will rework the prestige system, I will automatically unlock all perks tier 3 on everyone (except if they do a Big Progression Reset like they did back in November 2016 with the Legacy Outifits)
My concern here is : What will I do of all my bloodpoints? Not mentionning they are giving away bloodpoints like bread in a bakery...
At the moment, The Rift is one of the last thing which rewards me for playing, since it has challenges, rewards etc...
And trying to get all the perks on every character since it is the only way for me to spend my bloodpoints (which won't be a thing soon)
I know the bloodweb is supposed to be the place where to spend your bloodpoints (makes sense) but I think spending them on something else would be intersting... Idk 10000bp, 1 iridescent shard (just kidding, I know it will never happen).
Now I know we will then be able to prestige up to prestige 3, but still. Won't it be just a waste?!

Well, it's worth noting that they are uncapping prestige. Although I guess it'd be nice to see a system where you could trade in bloodpoints for other stuff.

Just use them for addons and stuff. Gives you more options to play the builds and addons you want when you want.

They should make it to where the old rift cosmetics become prestige rewards at every 5 prestige levels, instead of them going to the shop. So you'd unlock one piece of the outfit at every 5 levels. If you already have the piece, you instead get rewarded shards equal to half of what it would've been in the shop.
You'd get rewarded no matter what for prestiging a character, and would have a reason to spend BP

They're uncapping the prestige levels, so I guess you just forever prestige your favourite characters.

One question I have for the devs is about the teachables in general after reading the article on the official website. Are teachables no longer a thing? In their article, they mentioned that the shrine of secrets is going to become more about unlocking certain perks on all characters rather then unlocking teachables. Also, if someone has already gotten a character to Prestige 3, will their perks automatically unlock at Tier 3 on all survivors/killers (depending on the character)? Will new characters that arrive get the perks or will you have to prestige again? That last one is assuming you don't find the perk in that specific characters bloodweb. Speaking of which, will personal perks still appear in different characters bloodwebs or are they now part of the prestige system specifically?
I guess that's more than one question.

If I'm not mistaken, you'll be able to unlock a tier of a perk for every survivor
Like exemple, tier 1 for self-care. And everyone will have selfcare tier 1
(I'm not sure though)

Im not sure if this is a post trying to be a flex, or 5.5k hour player just dont know what bloodpoints is used for.
"but i dont wanna buy add-ons and items" then why are you making this post again? - cuz thats what you use bp for....
