Who has the easier role?

Survivor
If you know how to play survivor and loop and you’re in a swf or have good teammates on your team there’s really nothing the killer can do, especially in being in a swf, the only killers who really have a chance against a good swf team is a very good nurse and huntress and possibly a good blight.
Playing survivor is so easy all you have to do is stick on gens while your teammates loop the killer or loop the killer yourself while your team does gens, me and my friend swf sometimes as scoops ahoy Steve and scoops ahoy Jonathan (Jonathan’s head glitched on Steve’s scoops ahoy clothes) and most of the time we escape from the games we are in as we know how to loop the killer on just about all the maps, unless we go against a very good killer.

Survivor
Easily Survivor.
Even taking into consideration that you can be very good at the role and doing Solo Queue you can wind up with three potatoes that cost you the match no matter what you do, but even then you can get still get out by just hiding near one of the doors and waiting for the killer to close the hatch, come check the door you're at, and then go off to check the other one.
And if you've got even one friend to communicate with? Forget about it.

Survivor
Not even a close competition.

While I’m suspicious about this just being a circle jerk post. It’s easily survivor. For too many reasons to take the time to explain.

Survivor
I like how the whole community agrees that survivor is the easy role lol

Survivor
The only thing that's easy to do with killer is entering a match, since most (sane) people are trying to que up as survivor.

DBD Devs.
Or they used to until their money print- *ahem* Licensed DLC stopped spitting money and they're back on their butts listening to the community for once in a while.

4man swf. has the easier time

Survivor
After playing some LoL I'll hop into survivor matches to relax from intense gameplay. If that doesn't say something idk what does 😂

Low ranks - Killer
High ranks - Survivor

Survivor
the game is completely tilted towards the survivor side.
As I read somewhere, the killers can only win if the survivors make a mistake.

Map dependant
There should be more than map dependent. Survivor can be dreadful in solo queue but is can be hard to play against SWF. Neither side has it easier or harder overall.

Depends on what "easier role" means.
Killer has the overall lower skill-floor, meaning it's easier to start playing Killer than Survivor.
Killer also has the overall lower skill-ceiling, with a few Killers that are above Survivor in terms of skill-ceiling, as with Survivor you have to learn how to play around multiple Killers, unlike Killer, which, if you main a certain Killer, you only have to know how to play that 1 Killer.
Doing the main objective as a Survivor is easier than as a Killer, and SWF reduces that minimal skill requirement even further

Map dependant
Honestly it really is map dependent and what type of players you get.

Survivor
over 30 votes and NOBODY has said killer... I bet some people would if dead hard didn't exist

⬜️ Survive With Friends
Solo survivor and killer are the hardest.

I'd say the difficulty goes like Solo Queue < Killer < Survive With Friends.

Map dependant
I think debends on map some favour killer and some survivor so obviously that affect results. I usually has good success as killer but sometimes it's very hard role when facing good sfw even if you win. Survivor can be harder role if you try to do rift challenges or play soloQ but if you just play casually with sfw usually it's the easier role. I would still say killer usually is harder role as you are 1vs4 but as survivor it's 4vs1.

Make that 50 votes now. Still 0 votes for Killer lmao.

I mean even survivor only people know how ungrateful killer is. There's a reason they refuse to play it

Survivor
I'm relativly new, I play both sides, but it's always more chill as survivor (in soloq, my friend isn't too active). You're with other persons, even when they're douchbags, a team (and potential victims other than you) gives away a feeling of safety, where as a killer you're on your own and probably in a lobby with survs that have a higher skilllevel than you do (the MMR works great for new players! T-T) , overall, if you don't get the upper hand quickly you feel devastated in the killer role.

Survivor
Considering survivor is holding M1 for approx 100 seconds per survivor (possibly more) its definately the easier role than the always active killer.
Doesn't mean the easiest to succeed though, thats map dependant.

Survivor
Generally speaking survivor. SWF increases the chance greatly and certain maps make it even easier. Even as solo though at average levels on most maps survivor is easier, not necessarily 'easy' though. However at lower levels when both sides don't know maps/loops/mechanics etc., killer is easier.

Survivor
Hands down.
Playing survivor is already a much less stressful endeavor - the biggest issue is how boring it can be at times. When you bring Meta builds into the equation, the game practically plays itself. Not only are survivors emboldened to defy the killer and be risky and foolish, but they often are bored and do whatever they can to antagonize the killer to get interest out of a match.
Playing a killer can, at times, be more stressful than preforming on stage. In rare occasions, it has become more stressful than my actual job, killer gameplay demands perfection and those who do not preform well are met with great displeasure and are battered and bullied for the duration of the match.
Killers are not the power role. The match is the survivor's to lose.

Survivor
Kinda weird to see that many people say map dependent when like 95% of the maps are still survivor sided to varying degrees. You can essentially pick almost any map and it's still survivor sided.
2 -
Killer
I read it too fast and accidentally chose killer, survivors do have it easier.
Survivors just get chased once, get caught, saved and then do gens until they are found again. With killer you have to worry about gens, if you should leave chases, what mind games you should do, how to approach a chase, should I break this pallet? Should I give up chase? Killer is just a heaping ball of stress with the reward of more BP and satisfaction than the survivor.

Survivor
If a survivor knows how to loop and use second chance crutch perks along with braindead loops to exploit. With a swf, the match is even easier, without items; putting the good items, gets even more easy, must anti loop killers and m1 killers are simply countered easily too, which does not help. I am saying that as someone that plays mostly survivor.
