100% of my matches are vs afk killers
Does anybody else have this problem, what is going on?

Yesterday I've encountered my first afk killer in months
If you encounter a lot of them you're just very unlucky (or there's an afk epidemic and i'm the lucky one for not encountering them)

I am on Steam with crossplay turned ON, if I turn crossplay off i don't find any matches at all.

I expirience the same issue, not 100% of my matches, but usually my first two matches of the day are with afk killers. Playing on PC, I think I enabled crossplay.
One time it was pretty funny though, as the killer was the wraith, invisibly standing around and I just bumped into him ^^

It was like that for me too earlier but last two days it has been only AFK killers, about 50 trials in total.

I never get any afk killers. Maybe it's due to your mmr or time u play? Or maybe even a lot of people in your region like to afk, I have no idea. I don't think I've had an afk killer this year tbh. Kinda wish I got one every now and then just to break it up a bit 😥

I play 8 hours a day now and am rank 1.

I don't blame them, low MMR is the only way to have fun as killer nowdays, there's no reason to have high MMR, no rewards, cheaters, sub cheaters, stale meta and toxicity.
The rare times i play killer for tome i do my challenge and go afk

They're usually pretty rare, but for the past 14h i had ONLY 2 killers that weren't afk/bot.
I don't know what happened, but god damn it, i never met that many at once

Shortly after I started this discussion I started to get normal trials, I will return here if it gets weird again.

I havent seen an AFK Killer in almost half a year, either you are very unlucky or you are playing at some weird hours against bots coded to farm shards, that being said I dont play Survivor much lately so my data may not be huge.

I mostly play 12PM to 22PM standard European time.

Then there is something weird going on, I play on Europe around those hours too and the players are regular players.

I made a silly joke about a content creator dropping their mmr and that got deleted?? It was a joke! Jeez no fun zone, huh.

I actually haven't had an afk killer in awhile now except for maybe a couple. I do get them, but lately at the very least they run around doing random things.

You must have a really low mmr to make this happen.
Afk killer = auto lose =most of them end up in low mmr
Get higher mmr could help you not playing with them.

How that's even possible I have maybe seen only couple AFK killers in past year. Last was probably like half year ago...

Dropping MMR following the bloodhunt? Lots of players went pretty hard during the bloodhunt, might be they've seen their MMR get a bit too high for their liking. Just a guess anyway. I haven't really experienced that myself, aside from one AFK killer I had last night, but I'm a mid-rank survivor so if you're a high rank that could be why.

It's either people boosting their rift due to double xp and as the killer is in the game for longest they get the most out of it unlike survivors who can be killed AFKing or they're dropping MMR

Well, at some point there is a thing called "coincidence". Sure it is annoying, ill give you that, but it will probably change again. Try talking to you're teammates after the match, if they have similar problems. Also, maybe ask a support, there's a limit on what a forum can do. Either way good luck.

Nobody ever answers in the lobby neither before nor after the match - ever, I'm starting to think they are bots.

Then again, get in contact with the game support. They should be able to clarify some things. :)

I did, they asked me for my computer specs and other usless questions that has nothing to do with my problem, they have a check list that is regardless of your problem.
It's almost impossible to get in touch with a technichian.

Not all platforms have chat. They probably just cant seen your messages or respond.
