I am not very knowledgeable about this but I thought the same.

No it really shouldn't take this long. It should be the same HTML code for every avatar excluding the file for the picture.

He won't see it today, no. Dev's also aren't paid to check the Forums except for Mandy IIRC so he likely won't for a while. However, one can always hope he'll see it the next time he logs on.

Well, it depends how they did it. But there has to be other type of code involved (probably js), as they safe it for a person (connecting data with authenticated users). So the diffeculty is different for the possible aproaches they took. However, the way that would be "smart" should make it easy to add new pictures.

I hope they add a Jonathan Byers avatar like how they did with Chris and Claire, but highly unlikely cause of the license expire with Netflix :(
