Is the garden of joy balanced?
I wanted to hear the opinions of people who were able to play.
I know there is a god window in the main building but other than that the map looks ok.

Lol you think BHVR can actually design a map that isn't obnoxiously survivor sided?

Main building has a possible Gen spawn right next to god windows, nothing you can do about it, its a free Gen.
Other wise I really like the map, everything is messed up, not in order like original 3 realms where each title is clearly defined.

I like the map but man is it a pain as Trapper.

It looks cool, as usual.
Balance wise? God windows.

I could not find a match as Trapper (40min wait and no game), but I recognized that the bushes can not go through like Saloon. And there is no grass again.

It has some very strong windows for survivors. Almost Haddonfield tier.

As others have said the house is ######### nightmare. God windows a God pallet and it's dark af so if they have iron will it's possible to hide in the corner and not be seen.
Rest is pretty reasonable although the tiles can be kinda weird in the way yamaoka tiles can be if I'm remembering correctly.

Oh geez not this again.

It's actually pretty good aside from the main building. If they nerf that, I think it'd be great.

I don't like the us vs them but the last couple of maps have been horrifically designed.
Eyrie of Crows, Haddonfield, Coldwind, RPD ect

I've only seen a bit of it when watching Coconutrts on youtube, and the ground looked very bare in alot of spots which would be awful for trapper mains.
His traps need to be baseline camouflaged with whatever the map is not perfect but black/brown traps on snow and sand are just stupid.

Aside from some windows nu-Haddonfield is fairly balanced.

Aside from pretty much every window, new Haddonfield is balanced.
Unfortunately, the only house without a good window set-up is House of Less Pain Than Before.
0 -
Probably not

There's a decent amount of pallets that arent that safe but the house can have 2 god windows that go into each other while the structures to the left of the house (if you're facing it) have strong windows.

It's sort of balanced, excluding the main house since there's a few strong windows in and near it.

Just like all maps in this game, this one is balanced too Kappa

Not that bad...could be worse so I guess it's okay.
This map is gonna be really good for our boy Slinger tho,and Nurse of course due to it's openness.
there are some very unsafe pallets and deadzones but main building is strong if you can run it well.

Excluding main house?
Yeah, it's pretty fun and balanced.
Survivor leads you to the house? just leave the chase, it's not worth it.

it sucks for billy because the bush hitbox is scuffed and the windows in main are depressing. but outside of that? i think its fine.
2 -
Dear lord. They already have.
Haddonfield rework was actually really good, it's fairly balanced. And the new map is also pretty good. It might only be a tad too big.
3 -
Yeah one or two windows there might be a tad too strong, but in general the map seems pretty fine.
I haven't had problems with the windows personally, but I only played Dredge, and he has anti-loop.

And it is possible to use a trap killer to avoid that survivors won't see cause there to busy trying to hide

building wise, its typical bhvr buildings with the god window or two.
rest of the map wise, the tiles are pretty balanced with a mix of tall and shorts, as well as safe and unsafe.

There is a problematic gazebo if you run it the wrong way and as many others said... the house... my gawd... the house.

Hard to say when the map only releases in 2 days. A vast minority of players played PTB, and even less extensively, so there isn't enough feedback to jump into conclusions. BUT, looking at the map size and average amount of pallets per square meter is a way to get a quick first impression.

Yup, Haddonfun windows seems pretty balanced xD
0 -
Disagree.
Haddonfield is much BETTER, but it isn't good.
The windows alone make it insane if you're unlucky enough to play against a good team

The only problematic windows maybe are the two windows at the one house that can be chained together, but that's kind of it. And I haven't really had any problems with those windows either yet.

Hmm maybe. I haven't played too many matches on it yet, but in my experience it's pretty balanced. A fair amount of mindgameable and a few unsafe pallets, and certain areas that can be quite empty as well, so it makes sense that the houses are still quite strong.
