Any reason to buy or play Dredge?
The new chapter comes out tomorrow i think. I don't see a reason to buy it because the new killer is just Sadako 2.0, he could have been so much more scarier but as usual Behavior played it ultra safe to make sure survivors are not actually scared of the killer. Nightfall had so much potential to set a creepy and scary vibe. So the only reason i could buy the dlc is for Haddie maybe, cuz she's the first Indian character.

Nightfall was confirmed to be bugged so in the live release the darkness should be more prominent and the glow of the killer should be reduced. We will have to wait and see how much and if it’s enough.

"Sadako 2.0" is a weird way to say "Sadako but
100x10000x better".Plus Haddie is cool and both sides have some pretty cool new perks. It's one of the best original chapters we've had.

That’s not entirely fair when Minecraft updates are free, and players are also free to play on older versions if they want.

He's the game's only horror MONSTER. And A tier minimum, as he was unloopable on the PTB and has the best mobility in the game with his locker teleports. This chapter is gonna be horror again 😈

Don't forget if you hide in a locker he can teleport to the locker and rip you out of it not to mention the addon that causes lockers around you to open and slam shut or the creepy screams and laughter when nightfall hits.....I can't wait and Dredge is the first NON HUMANOID Killer

He looks fun enough, but I'm really on the fence about it. Might just wait until the prestige rework comes out. So sick of having to put in an obscene grind every time just to make a new killer playable

Was always set to buy him, definitely a well made killer but ..... I will refuse to get him if they haven't made nightfall a whole lot better. It had serious potential, and they dropped the ball yet again.

I don't know anything about him (console so no PTB thing) and I don't really follow streams or news or whatnot. All I know is you can lock lockers when facing him and he teleports around in lockers.
I'm pretty sure you can't but I also choose to believe this update means I can lock that nerd Dwight in the locker!

Saying Sadako 2.0 is weird since he is much better her by a huge shot. His chase power is fun, but if you don't like it, I can't convince you otherwise since fun is relative.
His perks are kinda thrash though.

I hate people calling Dredge “Sadako 2.0” since the only thing they have in common is they both teleport. They definitely are different enough that they can both exist in the game just fine.
Dredge looks fun, overall I’m guessing because of his map mobility and surprisingly decent anti-loop he’ll be in the 4 out of 5 star bucket in a lot of tier lists, we’ll see though. (For reference I’d put Sadako and Wraith at 2 to 2 1/2 out of 5. Their stealth is better but their mobility and looping are weaker and I think the latter outweighs the former.)

This might be the first DLC I won’t purchase.
Just cannot get hyped for it. The killer looks cool I guess but his power looks like something we’ve already seen to some extent .

No, you can't lock survivors in lockers. But funny thing I played Dredge yesterday and I accidently catch Dwight hiding in locker by random teleport. That couldn't be more stereotypical.

I have yet to catch a Dwight in a locker but teleporting around as Dredge is fun. He seems to be a very strong killer in my first few playthroughs (like...high B if I had to put him in a tier right now).
Killers though usually feel pretty OP on release until people figure out good strategies against them so I'll be curious to see if he stays at a high level or not.
On the plus side, high tier or not, he's super fun to play as so that's promising no matter what

I didn't have much success with Dredge. Mostly because I didn't get used to control him yet. Too much variations how to control his power so my recent games were a bit sloppy.
I hope I enjoy him when I figure how to play efficiently. Same as I didn't find Artist fun until I learned how to play her and now she is in my top-5 most fun killers list.
