B(H)ug Tech on Blight.
I saw a post few weeks ago in which Devs classified ''hug tech'' as a bug and it will be fixed. Is it possible to know if they are working on it since this is the most abused bug in DBD history? Just disable this bugged killer like you did with Nurse for 3 months so people can avoid killers who hug walls.

I mean go for it if you want even more boring blight matches by them getting more secure hits from bump logic.
Also nurse was disabled because they literally didn't know how to fix the grab bug that caused her to get stuck until the end of the trial.

By the people thaty play him yes. Its not a game breaking bug like CoH crashing people or nurse getting stuck after going for a grab. If that was the case then dh would need to be killswitched because you can dh through a killer in pickup animation so if they body block your side of the pallet you can say no.

For all people here: Blight Is Born bugged and it's still bugged. I don't understand why people cried for j Flick and not for this stuff. J Flick was game breaking and got fixed cause people abused about DPI on mouse. Now people abuses of any Wall in the map and I get an answer like " learn mind games" . Nice community lol.

If Blight Is supposed to bounce if you touch a Wall, you can't slide on It. Yeah it's game breaking Brother. Maybe you are main Blight and that's why you talk like this. In fact you still Blame dead hard in 2022.

They have to disable It and fix It properly. This killer has never been "normal". They did tons of hotfix ,but it's still garbage.

There are very specific, forecastable conditions he must meet to hug the wall, at which point the survivor is immediately presented with counterplay they should be familiar with.

But you discredited yourself with the DH salt, anyway. So I wish many a blight huggers upon you before the fix. It is obvious he should not be killswitched.

Game breaking is something that causes the game to BREAK ie crashing the game or causing someone to get frozen. Also I never had issues with the bug because like others said learn to mind game him. Just like nurse it's all about mind games to get past thier powers

What kind of mind game you Need to understand when you don't even know when the hit lands? I stomped tons of blights. I'm just bored of finding blights 24/7 Who bug abuse . I prefer being facecamped by a Bubba.

Thanks for the explanation. Looking down Is a really hard and forecastable condition to do the hug tech. Oh yeah,Blight has 4.6 mov Speed which Is the highest in the game. So if he fails hugging the Wall he gets you anyway. About DH: you probably can't read i suppose since the other guy introduce the DH "issue" going off topic. Check Better Brother 👍

? Dead hard is legit the best perk in the game. That perk alone makes playing killer a nightmare if you aren't blight or nurse. Also back to sliding... they literally built a mechanic (scoot surf) that helps you slide which is his secondary collision being tied to his camera and an M1 collision detector. If you look down while rushing perpendicular to a wall then turn you are able to get close to a 45-60 degree pre turn before you bump.

Oh great wise one... how does one counter a dh for distance. Dont say "mind breaker" or "blood echo" cause those arent reliable. Every exhaustion addon can just be walked off unless its pigs traps.
Also I never once said that it wasn't a bug.

He is my favourite killer to vs. I prefer strong chase killers because they use boring tunneling and hard camping much less than weak M1 killers do. But each their own I guess

Hillbilly Is fun to vs. A good hillbilly flicks and it's fun even if you get clutched by him. It's not funny to get hit by hug tech without any Logic. It's not funny playing against toxic clowns Who troll you when they clearly bug abuse. It's Just my opinion. If Blight gets fixed nobody Will play It anymore cause they can't play It in the right way: without sliding on walls like a soap.

I hate playing vs hillbilly I find him super boring and one directional. People will still play blight, unless removing hug tech completely ######### up his all collision so players would have to re learn it again for all maps and objects. If thats the case then I agree many will drop him cause they wont be bothered doing it all over again

This. Played through all his collision reworks except for his ptb collision which is basically his midget collision but more lenient. And can confirm it does get annoying especially after the RE chapter release that was by far his best collision but then they go and make him wider in the pinhead chapter basically removing one of his intentional features, scoot surf.

I agree with killswitch this bug is used for advantage, basically exploiting and people are getting away with it, then I wonder why does the report category “ exploiting “exists.

Funny part about that... the number of surivvors that would have been banned for abusing exploits over the years would drop the player base by prob half which is why they don't do anything about it anymore. Survivors abusing breakdown bug? Nah no ban for the reason of "there are other way of ending the game", survivors abusing invincibility by hiding inside a hooked survivor? no ban, a legion equips 2 mend addons? banned.

You have a point but that comes to my question, whats the point of reporting someone for exploiting bugs when it does nothing? Yes people were banned at that time for 2 mend addons(there was no killswitch at that time) but also survivors were getting banned for holding killer hostage, when they were below a " hole " and he jumped on them you could stuck the killer for the rest of the match. But if you think about it, with both of these bugs both sides could not play the game.

Idk thats a thing you'd have to ask the devs. I think they realized that whenever bug they introduce is gonna be abused the hell out of cough cough wake up bug or even clipping inside a hooked person for tapping the unhook option. Obviously they cant always keep a bugless patch but to have something random like wakeup affect all actions or breakdown somehow lose its timer..... thats spaghetti code for you. Like bugs in other games I've played seems more like oversights/unintentional things.

The best and logic comment from this thread. I never saw a "good" blight to not abuse his exploits. They all abuse them and they think they are good, "takes time and skill". Bro play nurse if you wanna prove something. In 2 hours everyone can learn hug tech, sh17 tech etc...
Every mediocre blight can slap on 4 gen perks, his busted addons that gives him more rush tokens and speed and voila, "pro" blight. But when you take away from them the exploits and the addons, they get 4 hooks at maximum.
Blight used to be fun till they found those exploits, no one wanna play against a sweaty "comp" blight with 4 gen perks / speed addons and on top of that those techs.
Imo, blight needs toned down about his addons -- basekit is fine -- and to fix his exploits and he's good to go.
Example:
- Speed addons, has no negative to it. It literally makes an already machine killer into an airplane (speed).
- Adrenaline, gives him more tokens for what? He has basekit enough of them. This reminds me of 7 blink nurse which was super ultra busted.
- Alchi ring. Super busted, a mediocre blight can down a survivor in 10 seconds. Just land a hit and you can rush again and deny the hit-sprint burst of the survivor.

Nurse is way more harder than blight to play + if you see a good nurse that destroys survivors in 2 min, then means it's a nurse main and with a lot of hours in the game, and guess what, she's winning without relying on sliding on walls like mr. blighty boi.
Everyone knows that and if you say it's not true then means you don't know what you're talking about. If you fk up 3 blinks as nurse at medium/high level, game's over. But is not the same about blight, you can make a lot of mistakes and still can win due to his medium ceiling skill and with the 93943 tokens of rushes + addons it doesn't ever matter how many times he fk's up.
Nurse and Billy are the most hard killers to learn properly.

Only way he even could hug tech it, is if he looks down and try to 50 / 50 you,

I report at least 3 or 4 blights players per day. I always find them. They Just don't care.

I've never seen so much bugs in a game to be honest. They fix 1 bug and they create 10 more. Unskilled staff. Better thinking about skins on the shop

I remember reporting someone for using lag flick and they did not get banned. They should just remove the text " exploiting bugs " since you just waste your time reporting someone, clipping it, uploading it, creating ticket just for him to not get banned.

Exaclty. I agree with you. You forgot about the aura reveal add on when he bounces on walls. A normal Blight without exploits Is a tier b killer. Maybe more Just for map control. It would become worse than hillbilly. That's why that example.

Every single Blight i chased without hug tech pressed esc - leave the match. Sadly your post explains nothing than Just random words written without any Logic. Cool. I am so curious to see how much hooks a "normal" Blight will do before realizing that One rush Is necessary to cover half of the shack surface using the hug tech. B tier Is just kindness brother.

I Just explained you how much time a chase Will last if you use that killer in the proper way on the most useful pallet in 80% of dbd maps . It was an example. Most of the hooks are made because you save time exploiting on walls. Hope you understood now. I really Hope so.
