Break pallets at any time
If you can break a pallet when it's down, what's stopping you from breaking a pallet when it's upright? Imagine the potential. Break the dreaded god pallets before survivors even get a chance to use them. I would ignore survivors for the first half of the game just to hunt down every pallet. Better brush up on your looping skills :D

It would be broken, killer movespeeds would universally need to be slowed down to compensate for this and would exacerbate the hold 'w' problem even more as every killer would do exactly what you described and pre-break the strongest pallets as they traversed the map.

Too many second chance perks at survivor's disposal for it to be broken

Will definitely be trying this!

Maybe if it was a perk with tokens then I'd think that'd be fair.

I'm down with it. Let's keep brainstorming, make it more " fair and balanced " and maybe one day it will be a real perk/ability.

wow man really cool idea

What good would "brushing up on your looping skills" do if by the time the killer starts chasing you, he already got rid of half the pallets or more? That would feel so awful, because killers would begin the match just running around, breaking undropped pallets, and perhaps getting a hit or two against a survivor they run in a long the way. Then when the killer starts commiting to chases, survivors will actually just hold w, real hold w, so not even chaining pallet loops or using clever routing or anything, just run in a straight line and that's it, without doing anything else until they are inevitably downed. The only thing they'd still have would be windows.
It would make the game so uninteractive and boring, not to mention incredibly killer sided. The game would be dead within a weak most likely.

Killer runs around the map breaking pallets, survivors get like 3 gens done cuz the killer isn't applying pressure to anyone and is just breaking pallets. "Wah, you filthy gen rushers."
Overcome, Lucky Break, Iron WIll, and Adrenaline become the meta. Survivors get hit once then hold W across the map since there's no point in trying to loop since there's no pallets. By then the last gens are done, the survivors pop Adrenaline, the game is over. Noed becomes even more meta than it already is because the actual game would be nonexistent & the killer will be desperate to secure kills. Noed gets cleansed, killer gets maybe 1k. Everyone has a boring time.

You have blood favor to block pallets. But we aren't going to see any mechanic to remove undropped pallets because they are resources to be used against the killer.

Maybe they could make perk that allows you to destroy pallets that are still up, but it would need some serious prerequisites to be balanced

One of my suggestions has been a perk that allows a killer with either a limited number of uses or a long cooldown to preemptively break a pallet. Obviously it has to be limited, but just being able to, say, go and break the killer shack pallet and another god pallet elsewhere on the map early in the match would be a decent perk without being overpowered. (In fact, I kind of think they could add this to Zanshin Tactics to buff that perk up a bit.)

You know that thing where when you load into Saloon or Chapel or Cowshed, you have to go around breaking breakable walls before you're allowed to play the game? I hope you like that, because you're going to be doing a lot more of it.
The result would be way less interactive than current DBD. All games start out as Hag/Trapper games where you don't see the killer for the first minute and a half, and then once the game actually starts with 2 gens left, all you can do is run around in dead zones and maybe play around the weak pallets the killer didn't bother with. Pure distance perks like Sprint Burst and Overcome would become meta and you'd see stealth (which nobody likes) make a hard resurgence, because running from the killer is now doomed.
Maps like Haddonfield and Garden of Joy would become the new Badham and the Game, as powerful windows are the only vestige of looping that remains. Suffo Pit would be popular if you could reliably get it out of MacMillan.

Blood Favor is a good perk, but it's also a hex, which can be deleted.
That wouldn't be every game. Some people like to experiment with different builds instead of running the same old meta. Survivors gen rush no matter what happens anyway so what's the difference?
Thanks for the replies everyone. The reason I got this idea is because I had a super sweaty/altruistic team that would go around preemptively sabotaging hooks. So it got me thinking, if they can sabo hooks to save a friend, shouldn't I be able to bust a pallet to save time? Food for thought.
