Garden of Joy is more poor map design

It’s like very survivor sided again and is a repeat of poor map design, first it’s big so once more no speed or teleport good luck, the stealth is very good with all the foliage, the loops are very chained and gens spread. But, the worst offender that main building, it’s disgusting, hard to track in there, a gen that’s an hindrance to defend, plus two god pallets and god windows, like how do they think this is good? And the biggest annoyance is Hillbilly and trying to curve with all the whack object hit boxes.

I don't have a problem with the exterior of the map, but that main building is horrific. Between the windows and the lighting, it's gotten to the point where I just won't follow a survivor in there unless it's the end of the match. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I honestly cannot think of a nastier main building in any other map.

Windows that don't cause stagger, that gen window combo which is an infinite for 110% killers especially since there are three different ways to enter the building again.

BHVR's map design lately has been give survivors some really absurdly strong tiles by making the rest of the map have practically nothing. Which I personally don't like, because the strong tiles survivor gets as a result are just not fun to play against.

I'm fairly certain that the darkness is a bug on pc? Every time I've gotten it as an xbox player it's normal brightness

Windows, lighting, and you can't hook survivors who have boil over in there (idk if hooks can spawn in there but they didn't for me)

The environmental collision issues make playing Bubba on this level such a headache. Every time I'm on this I run into a hidden twig multiple times per game and go into a tantrum. That mixed with the main building make me just want to give up as soon as I load in.

Yeah, I saw the same thing a few days ago. Someone had Flip-Flop/Boil Over and sat in the room with the generator - the killer couldn't reach the hook on the porch, which is the closest hook.

I've definitely seen a hook inside the building on the second floor in the back. Dunno if that was related to the basement spawning there, though.

Yeah ngl, as usual, visually the map looks stunning but honestly... In terms of fun map design or even healthy map design imo, they keep missing the mark.

The Game, RPD, Eyrie and now this map...

I think outside the main house it's fine, The house on the lower level with the window by the group of lockers just outside it is near impossible to deal with, pretty much the same for the upstairs window, but at least you have fall stagger there which you'll eventually catch up i guess.

I'll have to echo the same sentiments as everyone else here, the outside is fine except for the vehicles scattered around the map. For some reason all the cars have gigantic hitboxes making it impossible to fire projectiles over them on trickster and huntress for some reason. But yeah that indoors is honestly pretty bad, what I don't get is why is it pitch black inside there and way too many windows being way too close to each other.
