Regardless of how we all feel about dead hard, slightly meta post here; I wish that DBD did experiments like that on the main realm just a little more often. I feel like they’d prove to be very insightful.

I’d love to see a week without dead hard. I admit I use the perk but I wouldn’t have a problem using other exhaustion perks.

What is that comparison? Corrupt Intervention is there to help with the problem of early game and how fast gens get done during the beginning of the game, it's a bandaid fix with a perk. You don't need dead hard to win, I loop completely fine without it. I'd even go to say I learned how to loop better without it. Dead hard isnt there to fix anything. If anything, it causes more problems for the game.

Not really, more like "since bhvr will and can never do something against these out of game advantages nurse has to stay in the game to be able to keep up as a killer" OR they would have to immensely buff some of the other killers for that when nurse is gone. And I guess most don't want the latter.

I could stand having any killer perk disabled as long as dead hard is gone for a week.

    Pretty much this.

I can see that survivors relay too much on dead hard in a sense that they forgot how to actually loop like they did before the existence of dead hard, you can really see how they are looping according to the dead hard they are ready to use.

With dead hard removed even Trapper would feel OP for them.

I don't think it's a good idea. There will be no end to the cries of boosted survivors and it may drastically increase the killer wins for a little while.

It may distort the perception of the game regarding its current imbalance until the MMR "fixes" the matches properly.

We should probably wait for the famous 40 perks rework that was announced.

I love how people believe that Dead Hard is a crutch perk artificially boosting survivor escape rates but don't fully think this idea through. If Dead Hard is a crutch perk artificially inflating survivor escape rates, then removing it would require a flat buff to survivors across the board or a flat nerf to killers across the board to also happen.

I've always been an advocate for other exhaustion perks like Lithe or SB as I personally think they're much better and far more reliable than DH. However, whilst killers like Nurse and Alchemist Ring Blight exist in the game, I don't see any issue with DH. Survivors need at least some counter to these killers when their special powers (moreso Nurse's) go against the basic rules/mechanics of the game.

If DH was removed, some killers would then just complain about the next exhaustion perk. In fact, I had a killer DC on me because I was using SB and they were getting annoyed because I was able to 99% it quite well.

I would love to have dead hard removed however let's face it the wait times for killer would shoot up as many bad survivors wouldn't wanna play without their third health state. Good survivors who at least run a different exhaustion perk or none at all will still stay. However many survivor mains will not play during that week.

So basically it would solve the survivor queue times during the night?

Maybe it's worth a try then.

1 Week without DeadHard..... -60% players xD Too much noobs abusing that perk are going to leave DBD because they can´t fix their mistakes pressing the panic button.

That happens when you give tools that hurts the game to the point of turning players omega noobs without it.

if we assume there are no other perk builds that take a bit more work to use to escape sure. I escape a fair amount of the time and I dont use dead hard. removing dead hard wont require a buff elsewhere becasue dead hard isnt required to win unless you only know how to play a map by pressing E.

That being said I am not in the remove dead hard camp, though i wouldnt complain if it WAS removed lol
