Time to tunnel
Ranks reset, stayed out of killer for a couple of days so I could start off easily. Immediately face 3 swf that run decisive strike, dead hard, boon of healing and despite me being a good sport about it and having no hooks they all teabag on gate? Call me the joker cause its tunneling season.

Both sides are toxic. Matchmaking screwed up recently and put me and a bunch of solos up against a Nurse with a slugging build. She was far and above any of us and could have ended the game quickly if she wanted to. Instead, she opted to let everyone bleed out. Does that make all killers like her? No! Same for survivors. Not everyone is toxic.
If you must tunnel, do it to win, not out of spite. Don’t take your anger out on players who didn’t do anything to you.

Got a 4k the match after this one while tunneling everyone out tho. Should found this meta months ago

At the moment I just run a Chase-Build and dont give a f.... about winning.
Save the best for last, Enduring, Spirit Fury and Corrupt. I count hooks.
No Gen-Defense (ok, Corrupt to have a game which is longer than 5mins), No Info-Perks, nothing. Just pure M1-Chases. I like that kind of gameplay. At least till I am back at gold. For the Road to Rank 1 some Anti-Gen-Perks are necessary. The risk of losing pips is too high.

It doesn't mean it will work each time... If you're againsg very good loopers, you won't even have time to tunnel one of them.
But I don't understand the reason you went on the forums to tell us you're gonna tunnel people. Do it if you want, avoid it if you want. As long it's not against the rule, use your own strategy.

But still wont help you against the group you cant get a single hook from, does it? Play like you want, but at least rembember this when you open the next thread crying about ds, genrush or swf.

That just toxic doing it agains't innocent survivors if he really would want send message she should done that agains't them who wronged her. But I think it would just be better end the cycle.

Why would rank reset and not playing killer for a few days have anything to do with the survivors you get? "Rank" reset aka grade reset has nothing to do with matchmaking, and even if MMR decay exists in DBD it probably wouldn't kick in after as little as a few days.

Hello, I'm angry kid. I use my free time not to play for fun, just to spoil time for someone else. Not that it somehow affect those who made me frustrated, but logical thinking is not my strongest point, I'll punish those who didn't do anything wrong, also those who made me feel bad won't even notice and will laugh at me at best.

it has been said many many times before, your MMR is not link to rank.
To make matters worse their is also no mmr decry so you could be gone for a year come back and your MMR will remain the same.

Kind of hard to say you're not doing it to be a jerk when you literally just said the point was spite, though? "It's not about the win, it's about sending a message?"
If you want to play to win, no complaints from me. Tunneling is a powerful strategy and there's nothing illegitimate about that. Just don't do things specifically to make other players miserable unless you're completely comfortable with being just as bad as everyone who's upset you in-game.

We do a bit of trolling, besides as far as I know I've never sent any hurtful messages to these individuals within the game or outside of it despite me getting countless salty and hurtful messages from survivors. Not all survivors mind you, but how am I being a jerk for tunneling while people in the community itself hunt you down outside of the game just to say hurtful things? Kinda ridiculous when you put it that way.

I'll tunnel if I have to. But I won't go in to be nasty just because someone was nasty to me in the previous game. That's letting them win.
