Killers are sweating profusely during event
This is a casual warning to not play survivor during the event. Killers are sweating profusely during event even when 5 event offerings are using. The first two matches I played were against Onis and they would hook, pretend to leave, and then come right back and tunneled people off the hook. Also slugged everyone.
Killers are not punished for this. It is very easy to do this and they still get 30K+ while survivors all get less than 10K.
Dear BHVR, balance your game and make it a level playing field so both survivors and killers have equal chances of winning and getting equal amount of bloodpoints. One person shouldn't have the ability to deny bloodpoints to 4 others.

I'm glad I haven't been the only one who's noticed every killer trying their absolute hardest.
Maybe it'll slow down once it's been a few days into the event.

Sure. I'm sweating profusely with my build of BBQ, Iron Maiden, Plaything, and Hoarder. Some survivors are even reporting auditory nuisances in the form of a Wraith chasing them around binging his bong incessantly.
Actually, I just had a survivor and his friend spam my profile with -reps and suspicious links for not sweating and taking it easy. Maybe we should be warning about that.

Look I know, hurr durr Sluzzy blah blah blah, but it is a genuine issue that people on both sides will join exclusively for events just to make the games for the other side as miserable as possible. It's incredibly ######### pathetic and I wish there was a real way to deal with it once and for all, but be on the lookout for the next 2 weeks because there are going to be about 90x more players playing like if they don't get a 4k at 5 gens/4e within 2 minutes of the game starting they'll literally die. And it's incredibly ######### annoying.

Well, if you got 10k, multiply that by 5 and you just got 50k for a match that lasted 2 minutes

Yep. Got tunneled out the first few matches I played so I just decided not to play anymore today. Probably just going to skip this event honestly.

It does show the gigantic imbalance in favor of killers during events. If a killer tryhards, there is nothing survivors can do.

You say that but all the survivors I have had are sweaty try herds running full meta builds and New Parts + 30 Second long flashlights of death. also putting up offerings to go to places like Crows and The Corn Fields.

Before you say the Saloon - I just don't care for the atmosphere. It's pretty dead in there and I'm not sure if you can call the live music "live" music.

Yep. I'm planning to just grind out the cosmetics as quickly as possible and then take a break until next rift. I anticipate needing way fewer bloodpoints once the grind reduction launches, and my actual matches have been terrible since escape-based matchmaking. Texas Chainsaw gameplay trailer has me wishing it was 2023.

I mean, your saying that they are pretending to leave but like, maybe you shouldnt unhook with them so close by? You can wait for the Oni to get into a chase, or wait until you know for sure they are gone; you shouldnt expect the killer to leave the area when an unhook is going to occur, nor should you expect the killer to not tunnel when the option is right there.
Also Oni's power has lots of snowball potential, so of course they are going to slug... do you expect the killer to just instantly end their power every time they down someone? No, not everyone plays like that, so dont hold that expectation in others. Generally, you shouldnt hold expectations at all about the other side, everyone plays differently, and rather you agree with it or not, they are in their full right to play the game they want. (PS, you can run Unbreakable, or even Soul Guard if slugging is an issue, but it isnt required most of the time if your team is knowledgeable to deal with a slugging situation, in SoloQ it can be difficult, but keeping a level head goes a long way.)

Yet on the other side, if a killer doesn`t try hard, then survivors wont even let him have one hook. I hadn't a single fun, normal game this event, let alone a casual one.

This game is still not killer sided, even during this event. I've also been playing survivor a bit now and haven't noticed any difference. If anything, I have seen less killers camp and tunnel, surprisingly enough. You are most likely just using this event to once again cry about the game and how killer sided it is, because you seem to use anything for that, even though it isn't. Nothing surprising though considering it's you.
Camping and tunneling are also a problem, no matter during or outside of the game. Let's hope it gets addressed soon enough, but of course only together with some compensation to the killer, like some form of small slowdown, so they are also incentivised to play fairly and skillful, in addition to be decentivised to tunnel and camp. Although I do agree that nerfing camping and tunneling is probably the highest priority for the game's balance, but it just won't work without some form of compensation, or survivor queue times will probably be incredibly long.

Ahh yes OP, killers are definitely the only ones sweating during the event. By the way, here's a screenshot of my first event game as killer where survivors definitely weren't sweating.

My condolences. Swear for this event Dead Hard should have made survivors trip and throw a tantrum on the floor and NoED should just make fireworks happen where the totem is and have no other effect.

I don't really care if people "sweat", bit it's weirdomax supreme behavior if someone makes it blatantly obvious their primary objective is "haha lets deny people event stuff epic".
Luckily I haven't seen anything that truly looks like it so far this event, but no shortage of it in the past. No matter if that's the real old event hook sabo or stuff that isn't technically just plain gone yet like a killer just sitting on an event gen, survivors dcing to deny event hooks, instantly switching target off me when they're 5 seconds from downing me to chase, hook and facecamp a glowing survivor they saw in a previous event, or someone that I saw load in as killer and insta-DC in 4 cake (everyone but them) matches enough to think they did it full time one of the years.

Played 8 games of killer. 4 of those were against ultra sweaty partial/full SWFs, who were rude as all hell to boot.
2 of them had multiple DCs.
2 of them were decent.
Played 1 game of survivor, really chill Ghostface.
It's almost as if there are both nice people and cruel people playing this game at the same time.

Not everyone. People on both sides? Sure but not everyone who plays them. Honestly though this game is not built for 'sweating' it's really really not. It gets stale FAST. Most games do, but this one especially because only 2-5% of it is actually viable at best. That's why its more of a contentious issue then it would be for other games.

I've been having a much better time as survivor than killer. I've only had one killer burn a Mori, and no one had burned a Flan that match so it didn't even matter (the survivors were the jerks in that match, anyway, two of them were purposefully bringing the killer to me and the other random).
Of course, on Switch I need survivors to stand still and let me hit them, otherwise the only thing I can do is hunt zombies. Rather than farm with me even a little, I'm earning 10k and survivors are earning 11k. Not a very good use of their Flans, but that's their choice. I have no Flans to burn as killer. 🤷

Do you even play killer ? If you don't "sweat" gens are flying and you finish game with 2 hooks, especially with the OP event toolboxes

My first match was against a nurse and she went full sweat slugging everyone, not hooking until everyone was down. ZZzzz I just moved on to killer and played for fun with huntress.

I’ve had plenty of matches playing solo queue during the event that went fine. Stop it with the “survivors can do nothing” nonsense. Everyone knows it’s not true and it’s why most people don’t take your posts seriously. Do you ever have a good match as survivor?

It...depends.
Before the event, I was at a pretty chill 'intermediate' MMR, where most games - I could at least get 1 hook on everyone before killing anyone, and be at 1gen with everyone on their death hook, by and large.
I'm currently having to play pretty hard to even contest games.

I'm not. I'm playing super nice and letting everyone go. Only time I kill is if they don't unhook a teammate and that teammate was try to live (struggling on hook).
