I'm confused about these community challenges
Like how do they work? Is only your personal contribution counted towards the community part of the challenge? If not, then do you need to keep it selected for whatever your doing in the trials to count? Or are you able to do other challenges and still have something going towards the overall community part of the community challenge?
I think I'm partially worried that the devs set the bar too high for the community challenges if only personal contributions are taken into account for them and you aren't able to start the next one until the first is done. If this first challenge keeps going at the speed it's going at, it will take almost 3 whole days for just the first to get done and there's 4 on just the first page of this tome. Assuming there's also 4 on the next page (although hopefully none at all at this pace), it would take roughly 3.5 weeks to complete all of them and it's only a 2 week event. I guess some will probably go faster than others, but if they were all to go at similar speeds, it won't be possible to complete them all if there really are more on the next page.

You have to select the challenge to personally contribute to the challenge, your personal contribution is not passive as far as Im aware, though I kind of expect this to be one of the slower challenges to complete for the community since not everyone kicks gens, also some regression perks such as Hex: Ruin do not contribute to the challenge since it's based on the point scoring action of damaging a generator. I reckon "Be chased by the killer" and "chase survivors" will be an absolute breeze to go through considering how common both actions are, very rarely do you find very immersed gamers in DbD, at least with MMR being in the game.
Also the community challenges works either 1 of 2 ways (and Im not certain as to how it works so pick your poison):
- You can only contribute as much as the challenge will allow for the community challenge.
- You passively contribute to the community challenge but you need to contribute to progress.

I understand you need to have it selected to complete the "personal contribution" part of the challenge, I'm just mostly wondering about the global progression. Also, if you're right and you need it to be selected for any of your own matches to go towards it, then these challenges will never get done because no one is going to keep a challenge selected that they can't actively do.
