Please Just Chill Out

"I BROUGHT FIFTY FLANS AND GOT CAMPED ON FIRST HOOK"

"THESE TRY HARD SURVIVORS HAVE A TRUCK OF BRAND NEW PARTS!!! GENRUSHERS!!!"

You want the people you're playing with to chill and enjoy the event, but you're meeting this behavior you don't like with the same behavior. It's cliche, but be the change you want to see. Just calm down.

Every event I play party bottles clown. Party bottles clown plays normally, two hooks everybody and then just chills for the rest of the round. I have a few drinks while I'm doing this. It's fine. It's fun, even. Try it. You might like it.

Oh also: please just let the folks trying to do the no mither thing go. It's an awful challenge. They know it, you know it. Let it go.

If nothing else this event is lowkey fantastic for manually adjusting your MMR to more suitable levels. Just put on some meme builds and watch all four survivors leave without even 5 minutes wasted of your life.

As killer I let the No Mithers go (well I let everyone go) and then in end game I would see they were running a full perk load out. I think some are running No Mither right now in hopes killers will just let them go thinking they're doing the challenge. 😂

I was playing Doctor while I got my masks yesterday. Was just shocking, hitting, kicking gens, and opening doors when they were powered. Didn't even hook anyone, just had them wiggle free if I downed them or grabbed them from a locker. Didn't want anyone to get left to die on first hook.

I don't think you have to worry about the survivors dying on first hook, just get to the other side of the map as fast as possible, survivors like bp, and that's all they're thinking about, lol

Doctor is also a very good choice for just vibing. His giggles are precisely the right mood.

No more chill matches, especially during events... This became the norm unfortunately and the few people who play chill will suffer the consequences for doing so...

    No mercy.

It's happened multiple times before when I am just trying to have a chill match. I feel so bad when it happens too because I know what it's like to be left on a hook to die when killer is across the map. I wait for them to point at hook, if they want to be hooked then I'll hook them. Doctor is easiest to max out the other 3 categories every match so I'm fine missing out on the hooks.

I just enjoy making the survivors scream. I like to think that when I shock multiple survivors at once that they're screaming like they would when they're having fun at an amusement park. 😂

I wanted a full stack of BBQ so I hooked the David last with Oni and he gave up on hook, it was so sad to see :(

Wait, you actually manage to get hooks? Lucky you. Meanwhile I'm matched up against friggin navy seals.

I agree. I have had the spectrum of teams so far. At the beginning there is a rush to get the event rewards and then it slowly becomes a farm after the first few days. There seems to always be more activity during events and some of those players don't understand you want to let them farm after two hooks on each of them. For example, I had a Blendette, I happened to look before the game and they had about 50ish hours. I found them hiding in a bush. For at least a full minute I hit the gen next to them and tried the make them understand I see them and they can do their objectives. They just held fast "hiding" in the bush. Eventually, I left them and indicated to the rest of the survivors they could farm and they finished the gens and everyone was able to get out.

There also is no rule you have to cooperate for BP farm. People like to play normal and that is fine also.

What consequences? A couple bags at the gate? It's not a big deal. Huff some aerosolized pee and break some pallets. This is behavior you can play a role in altering.

Here's how my games are going today. I'm going in with strong builds and killers, with the goal of 2 hooking everyone then letting them get some BP, then killing 1 to pip.

No camping, no tunneling, minimal slugging.

Game 1: I down the first person at 4gens. They immediately DC as I pick them up.

Game 2: Duo with event flashlights, abusing double lockers to be unhookable.

Game 3: Bizarre game. 2 survivors want to straight up farm, 2 want to play normally. The latter two end up DCing.

Game 4: Really good game on Hag. Everyone got 30k BP with 5 flans.

Game 5: 4 man TTV SWF who destroy me. They send me to Eyrie with 2 further hook offerings and a mist offering. Postgame, they have almost 12,000 hours between them.

Game 6: 3man SWF with 7000 hours between them, 3 BNP lunar toolboxes. All the gens are done in less than 5 minues

Game 7: Really good game on Pig, of all things. 2 head pops, but everyone got lots of BP.
