Grim Embrace blocks all generators in the Trial for 45 seconds and reveals the Obsession's aura once you have hooked all unique survivors at least once. Let's talk about it...

Dead Man's Switch is a perk that blocks generators for 45 seconds that have their repair actions interrupted after hooking a survivor. Dead Man's Switch can have up to 11 activations in a Trial (that matter), and if at least 1 generator gets blocked for each of those hooks, were talking 11 blocked generators for 45 seconds each. Compared that to Grim Embrace, and it's 7 blocked gens for 45 seconds to 11 blocked gens at 45 seconds.

This isnt even considering that Dead Man's Switch can block more than 1 generator per activation, and perks like Infectious Fright can force a generator block. Not to mention that generators being blocked can happen passively if the survivors get off a generator to unhook, or tap a generator to stop regression.

I dont think Grim Embrace is a bad perk. 45 seconds that survivors can do literally nothing for isnt too bad, but for game slowdown... it gets heavily outdone by other perks. Want to aura read? Use BBQ or SH: Floods of Rage. Want to block gens? Dead Man's Switch is right there.

What do yall think about Grim Embrace? Does Grim Embrace need a buff? Or does Dead Man's Switch need a nerf/rework?

    Grim Embrace is a perk that is completely overshadowed by NWO. Why run a perk that gives me either 40 seconds of slowdown or absolutely nothing at all when I can run a perk that gives me up to 60 and will still give me something even if I don’t get 4 tokens?
