Question about Anniversary masks
Can we know if the Anniversary masks are unlocked when you escape and need to play as the character that gets the mask?
For example: Dwight gets a mask, do I need to escape with the mask thing to get it?
I don't have all the characters that will get the masks.
Personally, I would like that it was like the snowmen event, that you get the mask no matter what.
Can we get some information about it, @MandyTalk ? 😊

They stated it in the anniversary stream. It will be the same mechanic of finding pedestals that will instead of having a crown, have an invitation to the masquerade that you interact with. The unlock of the cosmetic will be the same as recent events where it is random out of the pool.

Is the mask (crown) award order the same for everyone? I received Dwight's mask first and I'm currently up to 8 out of 12 masks earned. I'm guessing the order is the same but wanted to confirm.

Is it? I've got the six Survivors ones first then the six Killers ones in the same order as the picture shown during the stream...
For the OP, now I've got all of them as a Survivor (and one as Killer), I can confirm: as a Killer, you interact with the invitation and you're done. As a Survivor, you need to interact with the invitation before the gates are opened or the hatch is closed. If you are alive and have the sparkles around you at the moment someone opened the gates or the Killer closes the hatch, you unlocked the mask, no matter if you escape or die.

Last night I got Deathslingers mask first, then I got Trappers mask. The only 2 I've unlocked so far.
