Woop! Community Goals Are Getting Fixed!
Just confirmed via the devs on the Twitters.
Hopefully they tweak these so that A. We can all contribute indefinitely and B. They are realistically achievable within the span of the event, assuming there's some attrition as we go in terms of player numbers.

I hope it's because BHVR finally understood what community is

Let's party like it's 1999!

We can do this now

Much appreciation to all who was worried and to devs for hearing us out and help make it possible. 👍❤

At first glance this looks impossible but idk the average games are played in an hour so I can't make an accurate assessment. Like assuming the average game is somewhere around 8 hooks with 6-8 safe unhooks... thats still nearly 172k games to complete that challenge.

Much more realistic. That's good :)

There's still a few that look iffy, but at least the devs are willing to work with us here.
2 -
They may need to adjust the personal contributions for that one but we won't know until people start doing that challenge. But around 2 million is a good number for overall contribution.

Yeah I'm glad they adjusted it within a day of the event starting, this means if the other ones don't progress fast enough within a day or two we can expect more changes.

They heavily overestimated how many people are gonna be playing the event
7 -
To be fair it only started yesterday, on a weekday. So...
0 -
So it seems they expect there to be 275,000+ players participating.
So far there seems to be about 200,000.
0 -
More like 95,000 to 120,000 on steam + consoles
0 -
The first challenge is already up to 8 million.
8,000,000 ÷ 40 = 200,000
0 -
200,000 players across all platforms.
0 -
...yes?

I think they might lower the numbers some, I think they may have overshot a little bit... to the point that it could possibly not be finished completely which obviously they don't want to happen.

Haha yeah the original goals were far from being realistic.
