Why does the gen progress bar turn red when there more than one person on a gen now?

Ever since the new updates whenever theres two or more survivors on a gen the progress bar turns red. It happens even when the killers dont have a perk that affects it. Why is it happening?

It is because when more than one person is on a gen, each person's efficiency decreases. You are both personally doing the gen at 90% of full speed when cooperating and it will repair at a total of 180% speed..

No, the base repair speed of each individual survivor is decreased by 10%, so with two survivors on the same gen, each is repairing at 90% of the base speed, but the total is 180% (still an overall net increase).
