Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Behavior, ATLEAST TRY!

Atleast try giving those poor jokes you call "killers" some better hex placement, instead of just placing them a foot away from a generator. This was my Ruin placement, nothing new, especially in the Garden Of Joy map.

Best thing is if i spawn directly in front of a Hex. I feel bad for the killer.

Nah, that tree makes it invisible to any survivor on that gen. Your overreacting.

Invisible? Then how are you seeing it in this picture right now? You think survivors only look at a generator and nothing around it? Smh, survivor main moment.

Hexes aren’t supposed to be searched forever 🤷‍♂️

Meanwhile in my survivor matches that's Devour Hope and the survivors that finished that gen decided to ignore the lit totem right next to them. 😂

"But if the survivors knew that now totems could spawn either around gens OR their starting location, it would make things way too easy for them and they could hunt them with laser-sight accuracy within seconds".

Honestly, for the most part, Hex: Totems are dead. Whenever I played them, besides the outliers like Plaything, Undying and possible NOED or Pentimento, I was thoroughly disappointed. Also, the tried and tested way of protecting them with Thrill of the Hunt got nerved pretty badly, now that you get no audio cue when someone is tampering with your hexes.

Hexes have become so weak and irrelevant, I think that you could as basekit have all hex effects, but for the 1st minute all totems are protected by the entity and only after 1min is the claw lifted and do some totems become lit alight as hexes. This, combined with old Thrill of the Hunt, would allow killers to try and experiment with basically all Hex totems and get some guranteed millage out of them, while still keeping them vulnerable and destructable. Obviously, this is just brainstorming and I haven't given brutal combos any thought, and some ruin/undying/plaything/thrill combo might be again pretty unfun to play against, but as it stands, the hex system died a long time ago and nearly all hex perks are just dead perks collecting dust, so something should be done about this actually pretty cool system.

So that's why place it right next to a generator in a brain dead way.

Stop playing hexes, it’s too much RNG. Go PR / DMS or Pop / Call of brine.

No but they're not meant to be found without even trying to find them either. You walk up to do that gen and you see it. No effort.
