um sorry but a trapper cant, hag cant, wraith cant, oni cant, dredge cant, artist cant, sadako cant... my point is his ability lets him go into m2 and instantly let go. so if you greed pallets you either take an m1 or a shred, or you drop it and waste the pallet. a good demogorgon is very hard to loop and almost impossibly so. making a good demogorgon only weakness generators. its unfun to go against tbh, but it seems he is stronger than most give him credit for

Bro, demogorgon impossibly to loop? Its one of the most balanced killers in the game, did you started to play yesterday or something? If demogorgon is too strong wait until you play against a good nurse, spirit or blight, you will probably cry

read my comment right, i said very hard to loop... good demogorgon. good killers are supposed to be hard to loop. i said almost impossibly, but as an exxageration to how you can not loop conventionally against a good demo and you cant save pallets very often. i have over 2000 hours in the game, and a good blight is fun to go against and a great nurse is horrible and a spirit player used to be ass because it felt very unfair. now that spirit has auditory phasing she is pretty fair and good. so your point is invalid.. all because you would rather insult me and take what i said wrong even though you are fully capable of reading my post

Bubba can shred trough pallets and has an instadow and still nobody complains about him (except for the easy camp but still), every killer who could instantly switch from power to m1 (deathsliger and pyramid head) has been changed to have counterplay on this side, demogorgon is fair because he needs to hold down his shred to actually shred and then he cant insta switch like old deathslinger and pyramid head, i think you feel like this because now there are a low number of demogorgons playing, so you just forgot how it was to play against him

nope, well maybe idk what counters him. but im not wrong he is incredibly strong at 1v1, he can insta shred and long shred. he can do an easy fake and zone like deathslinger. also thats because bubba uses his chainsaw and you can see if he is bad or good. if he uses 1 charge on a loop you can repeatedly go over and over. he also gets slowed down during his revs more than demo. bubba is easier to loop than a demo. i dont think demo is terrible, but he definitely is hard to deal with in a 1v1 if they know all the baits and how to use his ability. and then it is unfun

Uhm, Demogorgon is probably one of the most beloved killers to face, so I think you are in the big minority here.
He certainly has a fair amount of counterplay. The shape of the loop does play a noticeable role though. Loops that don't have a straight away are much stronger against him.
Sometimes you are going to have to waste a pallet pretty fast against him, but sometimes not. His chase power is very balanced and fair in my opinion.

Demogorgon's are good at shutting down greedy plays and can shut down survivors at TL walls and shack easily. He's not OP though. You just have to take this in mind and not be greedy. E.g., if you're at a TL loop, play around 1 window (the stronger one) rather than both.
He's good but definitely not deserving of a nerf. He is also rare(ish) to see nowadays.

i dont think he should be nerfed into the groun i just am against any killer who can use their second ability and instantly cancel to an m1, it takes away lots of 1v1 potential

yeah loops matter but he can shred at any angle dang near. even long wall and short wall and cow tree he can force a pallet drop

yeah but thats different because you can loop rage oni better than a killer that doesnt have to work with angles to chase, oni is about being unpredictable and coming at angles to be able to flick. demo can chase you straight up and gain blood lust and everything but you cant avoid using pallets. with an oni you can avoid using pallets depending on the situation

Yeah can't say I agree with that. Especially Cow Loop, if he expects you to drop the pallet so he can shred it, you can just keep running. Way to safe of a loop.

depends on which angle and on top of that, he can press m2 and he will start shred but in reality he never committed. the only way to win is to keep runnign and then vacuum into a stun. but chances are he will block the pallet by then

I mean demo stun length while shredding a pallet is practically identical to breaking it normally. I would love to know how you deal with bubba or billy or have straight up very obvious short stun lengths where they can chase you down almost instantly after breaking a pallet with their chainsaws.

nah demo shredding a pallet that you drop may give you same distance if youre running but if you have to drop it to live its spirit fury at that point. also bubba and billy are easy as hell yo deal with, easier than demo. if bubba uses more than 1 charge then you drop pallets if he uses 1 charge like lots of bubbas just keep greeding. and billy shouldnt even be a topic, good billys are as rare as the god nurse

But the argument is about demo being too easy or whatever on pallets. But it's not even remotely close to spirit fury. The stun length of breaking the pallet is as if he never got hit by a stun on it and just broke it regularly. That gives anyone a good amount of time to get away. He's also not hard to loop at all because while charging

bro i can gurantee that if you run straight to a pallet and give demo one second he WILL hit you. you can insta shred with demo but you sacrifice range and control. also he forces pallets down easy. unless you can prove me wrong... then i cant see your point at all

my point isn't about forcing pallets. my point is about how even IF he shreds a pallet the stun time is about the same as if if were to break it normally. So you get the same distance from it as survivor. And also the fact if he's charging shred, he's slowed down which ALSO gives you space to simply dodge, continue running past the pallet and around the corner, etc etc.

Demogorgan takes a short bit of time to pull up their shred, this also slows them down while doing so, even if they do shred there is still time to react, you can fake dropping the pallet and run to the side to avoid the shred. And even if youre forced to drop the pallet, Demo isnt the best for eating pallets, they have a cooldown after breaking a pallet, the cooldown can be reduce by addons but not that much.
Demogorgan is a balanced killer; he has mobility that is rewarded by a setup, an ability that rewards you for good usage of it and rewards good movement and pathing. He isnt insane in chase, but he still has some potential in chase unlike a lot of other killers.

if you drop it mid shred you dont get much distance :| and he only slows down after his shred is ready intitally or a few miliseconds before

It's another "Why can't I loop the killer 3 times, take a hit, go to the next pallet, loop 4 times, greed dead hard, and then slam the pallet on his head, go to another loop and FINALLY go down 120 seconds later" post.

welp when they change the base mechanic to something better than gen simulator youll understand, also a killer who can be looped who is good can win, so a killer with antiloop who is good can be even more oppressive. looping should be possible with every killer dang near. just not obsessive.

I understand the gameplay loop perfectly. When 4 decent survivors play together against 90%+ of the killer roster you can play the exact same way and get the exact same results every time. 3 gens pop by the time of 1st hook and the rest of the game is basically a cakewalk from that point on. there is just not enough time for M1 killers to deal with good loopers + exhaustion perks + map layouts. Also I have no idea what the phrase "a killer who can be looped who is good can win" means. There's literally not enough time in matches for that to be true, or if you disagree I would LOVE for you to provide timestamps of what you think the killer should be doing and how the game should go. Feel free to use 00:00:00 as the moment of spawn in for all players and go nuts from there, how long should the first chase take, hooking times, etc. Let's theorycraft to make the best M1 killer match we can against good survivors but I have a feeling it will result in the normal result which is killers get stomped out hard.

You've often commented that Demo is very strong in 1v1. That's kinda the point - all killers should be strong in 1v1 otherwise every game will turn into a ROFLSTOMP by the survivors.
As others have pointed out, there are other killers far nastier in 1v1 than Demo-dog.

idk since i play solo or with my lady friend who just runs into the killer its very frustrating having to just be mindless gen jockeys. ive played solo the majority of my games so killers with anti loop will obviously be annoying. even if i love demo it doesnt mean i like going against good ones who i cant loop. as a solo player there isnt much fun for anything but looping. i am sure people have stated this many a times. this game isnt 1v4 its 1v1v1v1v1 so if there is no 1v1 then its a pointless game. idk man i understand that he is balanced, but so deathslinger, he has incredibly strong 1v1 but no pressure, i hate him cuz of his 1v1, huntress is great with 1v1 and is a terrifying match and can have great pressure but i love her. its just the way abilities are made that ruin 1v1, the 1v1 experience is the only experience that matters. they need to change the base game to be more interactive or quit using anti loops and start being more innovative with loops. these killers wouldnt be necessary if the loops were more thought out, mindgames dont always work on every loop. trust me i play both sides so i understand why people want the killers to be strong, but i also know how it feels to play against strong killers with almost nothing to do but waste pallets and bide time.

If he doesn't actually use shred, because he is expecting you to just drop the pallet, he will respect the pallet, because he won't want to get stunned. So just keep running will gain you some distance. Whether that distance is enough generally depends on the size of the loop, but often enough it is viable counterplay.
I am not sure what your point is here anyways. If you hope that Demogorgon will be nerfed, you will be in for a disappointment.

my point is a good demo is actually really good at negating looping, most people dont realize this because he is rare and there are too many demo who respect pallets, like you said. but ive gone against demo who are right behind me and they will tap their ability and if i dont drop they wont shred and if you run back into the pallet for a cheeky stun they hit you, if they are bold they just insta shred as they turn. ive gone up against these types of demos, and let me tell you its waste pallet or hope you have enough distance, because if you vault a window as they round the corner your dead, they have to just start holding their power to not hit you.
