Match the Salt. Grind the Meat.
My first game during the event I played as Plague. Got met with pure meta builds with New Parts and God tier flashlights (still got a 3K however but it was full of tea bagging and angry messages). So I decided to stop playing nice and brought out my Pyramid Head. I specifically have him made up to be harsh. Every meta is on my list.
They brought New Parts? Well I closed half the map for two minutes thanks too Corrupt Intervention.
They bringing flash bombs and lights? Tier three Lightborn Will sort them out.
They trying to dead hard? Hello Path if Judgement.
Decisive strike have you scared? Send them to the Cage of Atonement for fun.
Someone body blocking? Strike them down with Starstruck.
And as a final thing. Did one of them really not put on a cake so they can choose a map they have memorized? Go get some BBQ and Chili.
Am I being a sweaty try hard? Yes, but no one can say that they don’t sweat sometimes too out of spite.

Sweat it out. This anniversary needs some elbow grease.

Can people complain about salt without writing out a manifesto?

Who said I was complaining? I’m just trying to farm BP for my less fortunate killers at the most efficient I can. So instead of throwing a fit and coming on here to say “Why survivors being try hards!” Or “Why can’t I win!” I decided to take a different approach by telling everyone on how I’m dealing with it proactively. Which in this case is a build that counters a lot of problems I saw killers having. That’s why I had such a long message. So people can see the perk and why it’s useful.

You literally had one bad game before you decided to become a wartime general.
14 -
So? If you have one bad experience you should prepare for that same experience to happen again, especially when we all know the odds of the big three meta perks being used by a survivor. If you knew every killer was going to run NOED wouldn’t you are your buddies not want to have a Totem Aura perk? I saw the way they played and recognized that this event should be treated like the last. Going in hard and getting as many blood points as possible. Especially so I can help level killers that don’t do well.

You are just not helping the situation whatsoever, everyone wants to get bp and to get everything they can.
The most unfun games ive had so far have been killers tunnelling, camping especially when playing haddie to deny me getting a chance at a challenge.

They trying to dead hard? Hello Path if Judgement.
Fun Fact: Pyramid Head's M2 is called Punishment of the Damned and his power is called Rites of Judgement

I don’t camp nor do I tunnel. I didn’t mention it either.

I didnt say you did, but you are not helping the situation. You go full sweat-mode on some innocent players trying to enjoy the game, just like you did, and then those players will go sweat because why play nice?

My brain melted on me while trying to think of its name. Thank you for clarifying.

If I notice that some players aren’t doing well I do back off and focus on other things. Usually breaking doors or finding the VIP pass, but I won’t go Easy on them or throw a match. I do let survivors leave however. Usually opening the gate myself to let the last one leave. I don’t enjoy 5 minute long matches. So I will try and extend them by actively leaving areas I hooked people in.
It really just depends on what I see in the pregame lobby. Characters and Customization do tell you alot about the Survivor, plus you can see what they are holding.
Thats why I titled this “Match the Salt. Grind the Meat”, because I can just not be Try Harding it against a group if they don’t start being salty. 2Ks are fine by me in a good match, but if you notice that in the beginning that the survivors are actively trying to troll or bully you? No mercy should be shown, because they wouldn’t show any to you.

You sure didn't come off that way in your OP. You kind of just complained about one bad game and then listed out some commentary of how you solved your problem with Pyramid Head by playing ruthlessly. I get your sentiment of wanting to give advice on how to solve these "problems" but it definitely didn't come off that way in how you originally said it.
You also mentioned that you're doing this out of spite, which isn't a great thing to promote as your intention to "sweat." I can understand sweating because you want to get BP and if you don't have some control of the game as killer, there's no guarantee that the survivors will let you get your bbq stacks. You shouldn't ever do things just out of spite, not a healthy mentality.
To each their own though, I'm trying to not "sweat" this anniversary, but I can't really help if a killer can't catch me in chase or throws the game chasing one person. When I'm in my matches, I'll usually cleanse at least 2 totems or open chests to try and max my bp, but if the killer is camping or tunnelling people, I don't have any other option than to try and rush gens to hope that the survivor might have a chance to escape.

Eh, my policy right now is to bring my most lethal builds and killers, 2 hook everyone and then generally ease up and let them get their gens done.
Currently, I'm rocking the Casbah with 'Darkness' Dredge; longer Nightfall, 4x teleports, Pain Resonance, Discordance, Surge and Floods of Rage, my 'Bastard' Hag (Monitor, PR, Surge and Corrupt) or my 'Swamp' Demo with both Iris, Plaything, Pentimento, Call of Brine (seriously, such a slept on perk) and BBQ.

I would sub that BBQ with Franklins Demise. Nothing riles up those try-hard sweat squads more, then losing the grip on their precious god-flashlight and awesome anniversary medkit. Besides that: have fun.

And here I am, party bottles clown. Two hooking everybody and leading survs to the invites with piss bottle trails.

My first game of the event was a facecamping tunnelling bubba who hit everyone on hook.
My friend and I were like '######### was his problem?' and then moved on to the next game. We didn't teabag the next killer, we didn't bring a full meta sweat build, we just continued playing as we had before. We played against a variety of killers from sweaty meta nurses slugging at 5 gens to chill legions who just wanted to get that one insta down add on to work (aka we farmed with them).
Just play the game and stop treating your opponent as a monolith who're all out to get you. I understand sweaty meta builds are frustrating but continuing the cycle doesn't help anyone. I feel like this community would really benefit from being less assuming of people's intentions. Cakes/puddings during events aren't inherently selfish, people could just be trying to use them up before prestiging. A survivor queueing up in lobby with a flashlight isn't inherently malicious, some challenges literally require them and heck most people don't even know how to use them correctly (myself included, but I'll never bother learning because I don't want to get tunnelled out of a game just because there's some unwritten rule against them). A killer proxycamping a hook after the gens are done aren't trying to ruin the game, at that point there's nowhere else for them to logically go.
Just idk some food for thought. It's a video game. If you're not having fun maybe just log off for a bit instead of trying to take it out on the next person. This isn't directed entirely at you OP, just the community in general. I also think people would really benefit from playing both sides more so they can empathise a little more.

I did play Survivor for a better part of a year. That’s actually why I don’t face camp or use Insidious or anything like that. But you’re right, you don’t know what people are going to do. So the first bit of a match I try to get the feel for what types of people I’m dealing with, but if I notice they are actively being that way I switch to try hard mode.

Strip the flesh, salt the wound...
Anyway. Bit dramatic.

As you should. Punish face campers and super Tunneling as much as possible. I actually wrote this post after a match where I let someone go because their team wouldn’t get them up.
I mainly wrote this as a to see how other killers would comment. I usually disregard Survivor comments because a lot of them feel entitled to win every single match.
I personally am fine with 2Ks so I don’t fully go try hard more of the year, but around extra blood point time? I do it so I can help out my M1 killers who BHVR has left to suffer.

Had my inner Trickster come out. Was running high on Salt. Calmed down now. Can see I was being a jerk to you guys on here. Trying to fix a misconception that I do this to everyone.
2 -
Yeah I understand that. Sometimes you just do what you have to do when you're playing either side. Last night when I was playing killer, I tunnelled a guy out because he wouldn't stop flashlight spamming me and tbagging after dropping every pallet. The dude just wanted my attention real bad, (I tried to go for unhooker but they protected the unhooker). I tunnel the guy out and because he wouldn't just hide and heal, I ended up getting a 4k because of his weird need to get tunnelled. I definitely should have only gotten a 1k maybe 2k at best if he didn't troll and throw for his team. (He was running DS)

"The survivor mains, you never respected me, and now you will all pay for it. Survs, all I ever wanted was to have fun together, have fun with you."

Make them cry and get off the game for a good bit :)
