It doesn't. It spawns when 3 survivors are eliminated.
It now only exists as a clause to prevent holding the game hostage, for either side. Either the survivor who literally cannot get out of the exit can escape through the hatch, or the killer who cannot find the hidden survivor can close it and trigger EGC, ending the game.

The hatch only spawns when there is only 1 survivor left. Doesn't matter how many gens are done. If your saying it shouldn't spawn if all the gens are done and your the last survivor then I have to disagree with you mate.

I agree. No one wanted those offerings anyway, all they do is enable hatch camping which was already annoying.

There are seven gens.

Let me spell this out to you.
- There are 7 gens in the game, not 6.
- The hatch does not spawn when the final gen is repaired.
- The hatch DOES spawn, when the third survivor leaves the game.
In your case, the hatch was already open before the last survivor completed the last gen.
When you are down to one survivor remaining, the game becomes a race to the hatch. That's the format of the game. Live with it. It's there for a very good reason.
Finally; a hatch escape is not counted as a loss. Your MMR (if you even care about that, you shouldn't) does not count it as an escape.
A 3k + 1 hatch escape is a win for killer.

No amount of "nuh uh"s is going to change that, it's a fact.

You see i rly don't care about mmr cause it doesn't give me anything. What i care about is win (4k is a win 3k is a loss, 2k is you should uninstall ,1k why is dbd not uninstalled yet and 0 kills is you should just quit ) . Anyone saying that 3k is a win is survivor main or someone that like to play on easy mode.

🤣 if there would not be hatch he would teabag at exit gates to you. The game is not survivor sided but some maps are. Lot of debends how skilled you are. Some killers are very hard to master and some are more powerful than others. Survivor I think at some point you can't evolve anymore but as killer you can only get better and better.

I'm pretty sure hatch mechanics is always been survivor sided though, there is no equivalent mechanics for killers.

You already got three kills, which is considered a win by the devs and any reasonable person who plays this game. Outside of the hatch offerings, it's entirely RNG. It's ok if one survivor gets away, you will still wake up tomorrow.

You know, at that point it's quite obvious survivors as a team did lost, let them lose when they lose.
Just kill it with the entity, because it's pretty much what happens when killer tried hard enough anyway.
of course, how about this then, when last survivor dies, he gets 5k bp for losing.

Ok so you can patrol both exit gates and prevent the survivor from opening them.
The survivor doesn't stand a chance.
You go back and forth, never letting the survivor get close enough to a gate to open it.
This lasts indefinitely.
The survivor gives up on trying to open an exit.
The survivor hides in a corner, so you can't find them.
Nobody leaves the game. For. Hours.
This is why the hatch exists.
The survivor has completed their main objective by powering the gates at that point. So the hatch is a fair shot at an escape.

Also game is so survivor sided thats not even a question . Let me give you few examples. Hatch reward bad survivors, op perks that give you second chance (DEAD HARD) gens taking 120 second (even less if you have some of the gen speed perks and toolboxes) 634683 palets on every map, Jugle gyms do i have to continue? Cause i have at least 9 more.

That's exactly what a hatch escape is. it's not classed as a win for the survivor, it's commiseration points. It's MMR neutral for both killer and survivor.

It's classed as lose for killers though, you can fix all the emblems/achievements/tomes but it IS like that.
on top of that some survivors loves wasting killers time as much as possible, to the point somehow they wait on top of hatches, if the point of it is commiseration, there is no point in hatch mechanics.

Well if he got 5k points it just mean he was doing nothing at thats even bigger reason for him to not escape. I would rather give hatch to guy who was mvp looping me for 2 gens then giving to guy who was hiding whole game and waiting for everyone dies .

So he was last survivor so that's your fault not slugging for 4K. If you hook second last it's basically 50/50 who finds hatch. So if you want 4K then slug second last and find the last one this can take time but in your situation I would look at exit and quard the slugged one also.

Yes but thats stupid cause that gives survivor FREE WIN. I cant watch gates and look for hatchh and survivor can just wait at the exit gate and moment i move away he will open it in 25 seconds
