The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Great incentive to learn new killers!!!!
Like holy christ man. Dealing with 3 deadhards, 2 DS's, 4 iron wills, and 3 survivors with flashy macro spamming just following me around not letting me pick up anybody and play the game, when I'm literally just on like my 3rd game as blight EVER.
This game REALLY needs better help with the matchmaking because this makes me never want to even touch blight again as clearly the game thinks my blight mmr is the same as my legion.

Unfortunately, they didn't factor this into the game when they added MMR.
I believe you get 80% of your highest MMR killer put onto any other killer you play even if you've never played them before.
When I unlocked Dredge in the first game I got smashed, 2 downs 1 hook all thanks to my nurse MMR.

Bots really cannot come soon enough

Just play facecamping bubba - the game is broken af unless you are using "meta" perks with killer.

Yeah we really need incentives to play new killers, i could only master a few and I'm already tired playing killer.

Mmr did only disable changing killer in the lobby, otherwise there is no difference in difficulty with whatever killer you play

I stopped playing majority of killers tbh because at night all I get is flashlight swfs, so its Bubba every night for me with occasional clown when I hit a new grade and cant depip. It is impossible to chill on a new killer

As I have the same issue as the OP, I'm waiting for the bots to start learning Killer... Bots won't be as good as real players but at least, it's a good way to discover a Killer's power and being used of it.

I feel ya, mate. Trying new stuff or even a fun, meme build and then getting severely crushed by a hyper-tuned, super-efficient SWF death squad feels just bad. I guess its the same for poor survivors getting tunneled out within 2min of the game, it really sucks that the game doesn't take into account when you try some new killer.
I am super bad with Blight. I know that he is supposed to be S tier, but I never learned how to use his power, I will just slide over the map and then slow down ungracefully on the field, with the survivors laughing their behinds off, t-bagging me :) This game has had its ups and downs for me. For a while I was super hung up on all the inconsistencies and unbalanced factors, but in the end it really helps to just relax your views on this things.
Its not easy, I know, and to this day I am still baffled about HOW HARD this game punishes you with sweaty games, jsut for playing consistently good, but thats just what it is. I once gave it my all, tunneled like mad, gave no quarters, expected none, and I guess I even reached what you could call the higher MMR grounds? But boi was it no fun. Sweat and the feeling as if you were running the DBD world cup finals every game, every day. Now I dont mind to throw a game and nearly always give the last survivor the hatch, just to keep my MMR growth a bit down, unless they played super toxic, and I guess its working for me. My games are more of a mixed bag, but with more fun ones then bad ones. Still not sold on the whole way the MMR plays out, but thats what we gotta live with.

Ties into a post from the other day but it’s worth reiterating here.
Devs, please remove depipping. Matchmaking is iffy enough as it is, people don’t want to jump into a new killer and get stomped in their very first game and suffer a depip for their time as well.

Yeah... haha... this is me as well. My first game of Blight I had the survivors T-bagging me at the exit gate because I missed a few of my rushes. Still had a 2k, but I definitely did some silly stuff throughout that game.
I wish the mmr was more like half your killer average mmr when you start playing on a new killer. I understand that it can't be too low because you understand the base mechanics of the game already, but I feel like with their mmr system, the mmr would raise pretty easily if you dunked on the "baby survivors" which would be a disservice to your ownself if you didn't take advantage of learning your power in more relaxed games. I get it though if they don't want newer players getting demolished, but like, still makes it a harder process to learn and play new killers without people bugging you about being trash with over 1000 hours.

It’s frustrating getting teams like these in your first few games as a certain killer, but personally when I was learning Blight (and now Huntress) after I kind of figured out what I was supposed to be doing I started enjoying going against teams like these because it’s more of a challenge. Just don’t go to the exit gates or look at endgame chat. And expect to lose.

Well the first time you play a brand new killer character the game has to estimate your initial MMR based on the MMRs of your other killer characters. It would make no sense to assume that if your other characters are all around 1700 rating that the first time you play Dredge, for instance, your skills in those other characters won’t at least give you a big leg up on playing Dredge too.
Of course, there are exceptions - the first time you play Nurse you will suck at it no matter how good you are at other killers because she plays so differently. But your MMR does go up or down more quickly the first set of matches you play with a character, so if you do get trounced it should get easier in a reasonable number of games.

We don't need another Blight main.

That's not for you to decide

Well I would love to play different killers, but you can Dead Hard Nemesis' tentacle from both damage and infection and Pinhead's chain from doing anything at all while you're forced to stand still...
Dead Hard sure is something

They did add individual mmr for each killer early on but the very obvious conclusion was Good players would just abuse low MMR on killers they don't play often, thus gettting easier survivors to face because of the low MMR. Everyone was wanting to try other killers because of this and the results were obvious. And then the good survivor players werefacing complete newbies as killers.

They will be good enough for Nurse / Blight, where it's more about how to use their power on different maps / loops.
I was training Blight by stomping survivors with best perks / addons, then left last two alive and went to train how to use his power around loops, changing DPI etc..

That would be great but its more like iron sharpens wood is what you're saying because i'm not iron when im first learning these killers. It's me first trying to figure out how the power works and how to put it into practice while the survivors are sweating like i'm a seasoned veteran blight.
