IPad full version of Dead by Daylight desktop.
iPad is become more powerful, specially, the latest one, it have the same chip of the mac, the M1 chip with 16 of ram. And it’s now with huge update, iPadOS 16.
Because the restrictions that were preventing the game from being present on the iPad disappeared, I think the restrictions were:
1- Weak iPad processors (The problem was solved by placing the Mac processor in the iPad, the M1 processor.).
2- Not allowing an external payment method (the problem has been resolved).
3- The inability to deal with the RAM memory (the problem was resolved in the last update with the swap memory feature Which that will able to ipad to have 24 RAM!.).
So i think it’s the time to bring the full game to the ipad, Because the mobile version of the game is no longer suitable for the iPad.

I don’t see a point personally. The mobile game for mobile devices makes more sense and would save the devs a lot of resources trying to make an iPad port

But Apple always call iPad a computer, not calling it a big mobile! :)

And what would the control scheme be? On-screen buttons right? Sounds like mobile to me.

The system of an iPad is more similar to phone, than to a PC. If they call it that way, it is purely for marketing. There would be the need for a new compatibility mode. A lot of recourses needed, so it's unlikly to become a thing. Not impossible, but highly unlikly.

You can play the full game on mobile or tablet by using Nvidia GeForce Now and connect it to your Steam or Epic Games account. You can even connect a controller by bluetooth

Don’t forget that Ipad support keyboard and PS4, XBOX, etc controllers.

iPad doesn't use the same OS of the mac, they are 2 different platforms and IpadOS is way more similar to iOS than macOS
Apple can say what they want, the iPad is a mobile device, not a desktop one yet
It would be a LOT of effort to bring DBD desktop to iPad, and for what? How many people would play on it? 5?
