There is one problem with the new prestige system (prediction)

i just watched CoconutRT video about it and ngl everything sounds awesome but one thing

please for the love of hell do not show the prestige level after the game

this community will find any way to be toxic and I'm honestly not ready to hear almost every game

WoW your killer is only prestige 5 that's why u suck or, look only prestige 1 baby killer/survivor

everyone had their share of toxicity and salt and this will just add more

and please don't pretend like this isn't gonna be a problem BECAUSE IT WILL BE

(of course assuming it will even make it to live if not then i will just put this out here )

    Don't forget everyone treating prestige like it equates to skill/rank

    I can not wait for that people will use them to complain about matchmaking:

    • P55 bully SWFs destroyed me
    • I am always playing against p25 killers, matchmaking is broken


    Hiding grades was great thing by BHVR but they even found way to ruin it.

    Like they are not already toxic. Good my messages are disabled when I play killer.

    To clarify I don't get salt often on my surv account. That doesn't mean killers aren't toxic however, they are just outnumbered so they don't usually message me on ps.

    People have done that to begin with. I don’t think the prestiging system is going to increase or decrease toxicity in any way shape or form.

    The honest truth though is matchmaking is broken :D. You don't need some arbitrary number to prove it. Just watching the massive variance in how players at your supposed skill level is pretty much proof of that. Especially noticeable on killer.

    It'll just be a scapegoat for a problem that already exists. In other words, it doesn't matter.
