1 hour ban for being harassed. Sick ot it
I have Deliverance, but it's fine. The killer's chasing someone else.
Just kidding. They let them go, but it's fine because they're chasing soemone else.
Just kidding. They're on me. Wait. Why aren't they letting me go free like the others??

1-hour matchmaking ban for quitting.
The penalty system is fogged. I've been stuck at a 30 minute ban for the past week even though I only DC no more than once a day (100% of DC's have been from solo survivor q, if that says something)
Why do I have to stop playing the game for an entire week just to get rid of my penalty??
Why do I get targeted and bullied out of a match, and get penalized while the killer gets REWARDED Bloodpoints for maing me do so?
Why can't we hide our foggin' names from being shown until the end of the match screen??

You get punished because you disconnected, if you DC each day you reset the timer.

Sounds like the system is working exactly as intended. Do those things suck in matches? Yeah. I've had them happen to me as well. I've only ever disconnected for it once. By disconnecting you make the match equally as miserable for your other teammates when everyone had a chance to succeed. On the off chance you did it on last hook, would it have really killed you to stay those extra few seconds. Sometimes you just need to take a break when you are having a bad experience. By the sounds of it, you need one. Realistically there should be no reason to disconnect from matches everyday. If you start a match it is expected you are sportsmanlike enough to finish it (obviously excluding real life emergencies which are more important). Just take the loss and take a break. Be thankful your penalty isn't longer

That might have something to do with it.

im more annoyed by the Fact you get a Penalty when you dc the first time. What if i just had a Problem with my Internet ? Now im getting punished for it ?
I honestly Dc maybe once or maximum twice a Month. If even at all. And i only do it for a REALLY good Reason. Being punished for it seems unfair.
(As Killer btw. Or when the Game is already Lost as Survivor. For example: Killer Slugs everyone on the Ground)

On some rare occasions it can be. But the key word is rare. I have been ignored and the only one attempted to be killed while the killer ignores everyone else (mainly during this event), but to disconnect everyday is kinda ridiculous

> disconnects for no reason, ruining the match for four other players
> complains about the penalty put in place to stop exactly that from happening constantly

I don't see why I need to get hooked twice in a row at 4 or 5 gens, and then sit around slugged while the killer goes on another chase. I'm malding on the floor, just let me leave.

I hope this is satire.

Trust me- take your medicine. When a match doesn’t go your way for whatever reason, don’t DC- just deal with it. It’ll actually makes you resilient and a better survivor. Some of my best games came from turning things around and not giving up. It’ll actually happen more than you think. Sometimes it looks like you have bad teammates, when all it was is they made bad plays. Then they step their game up. Other times they REALLY are bad, but you end up getting more BP and escape through hatch because you hung in there. Getting face camped by Bubba for the 3rd game in a row? If at least one person is on a gen, stay on the hook. Be a martyr for the cause to help the team. You’ll appreciate it when someone else is on the hook, sacrificing themselves for you to do gens and get out.
Whenever DBD used to make me want to uninstall, I would take a short break from it and watch YouTube or play something else. DC’ng only hurts YOU, not the killer. It does screw over your teammates- especially the really good ones, so that’s not nice. You’re not going to screw over the bad ones, that’s for sure- they’re going to die regardless lol. Don’t let yourself go on hook either, play through it with the mindset that you’ll do whatever objective needs to be done to increase your teams chances of survival. Players do it all the time when they’re having bad games, and I’m sure you’ve benefited from it at one time or another- whether you realized it or not. Hang in there, take deep breathes, and take more breaks when the game becomes unbearable. Good luck- you can do it.

They've said before that they intentionally have the DC penalty start out really low to factor in the possibility of the occasional internet problem or IRL emergency.

i mean. Fair enought. If it wasnt for those 5 minutes People like the OP would probably Abuse the ######### out of the dc function daily.

You DCed because you couldn't get Deliverance value?
Dude getting hooked first is practically a secondary effect of that perk.
1 -
Oh boy. You're one of those people who quits whenever they can't use Deliverance, aren't you.
Nobody's 'making' you DC. Quit abusing the DC function and just play the game. You're not guaranteed perk value out of anything you bring and all you're doing is ruining the match for everyone else. The hour-long ban is half there to protect other players from having to play with someone who serial ragequits.
