Glad I didn't P3
So glad I didn't fall into the trap of rushing to prestige any characters before the prestige changes.
Instead of losing all my items, add ons and offerings to get some bloody clothes, I now get to keep my hundreds of flans AND get instant bloody clothes the moment the new system drops and I'm instantly converted to P4-P9 on my main characters.
Win-win

Yeah I’m lucky that I prestiged way before the change was announced. I’ll enjoy my unique PNG image though

An icon that I don't care about, that makes no difference to anything, that has decent merit not existing in its' proposed place to begin with?

How do you know the conversion rate between amount of perks and the prestige you will get?
I though it would be capped at P3 if you have most of the perks

Maybe the devs interpretation of a reward is similar to my definition of a "reward", which is strangely similar to your definition.
I understand there was likely to be a very (maybe very very) limited range of things it could realistically be and many suggestions were never going to make it (why people kept suggesting most currencies, I just don't know) - my expectations were not significant, but an icon giving recongition that I've used BP's in a certain way is just....
I dunno...
There was also another thread recently with a much better post game screenshot proposal than the current one, that adapted slightly would maybe make this reward / "reward" slightly more reasonable. Slightly.

I have one character P3. I only did it for the achievements. I can understand completely why everyone is disgusted by the "reward".
