Delete Kindred (Solo survivor buff)

Kinship (Camaraderie) Rework:
The importance of friendship has given you strength.
While any other survivor is on the hook and the killer is within a range of 16 meters, their aura is revealed to you.
While you are on the hook and the killer is within a range of 16 meters, their aura is revealed to all survivors.
If you enter the struggle phase, Kinship will activate its secondary effect: If another survivor is within/enters 16 meters of your hook while Kinship’s Secondary effect is active, the struggle phase will be paused for 26/30/34 seconds.
Kindred survivor auras will now be a base-kit feature for solo-players. This will help solo players gain the proper information of other survivors locations throughout the game.
This should be a step closer to closing the gap between solo players and Survive with friend players.
Kinship (Camaraderie) should now be a perk that can be used by solo-players. The perk currently benefits survivors with proper communication, so this is a great change.
Now, Delete Kindred

one open handed and basically 100% wallhacks as long as someone is hooked, very interesting.
..oh apparently only survivor auras are basekit, then it's no different from what it is for now I guess.

Sounds good to me. But I would still like to have current kindred aura as basekit without need to use perk slots

Maybe not different for players with communication but for solo players, this is huge!
We would know who is on generators
Who is going for the save
Who is being chased
It will really save so much time.

I personally think such a base perk should only work 15 seconds after the killer hooks the survivor. Kindred however would maintain it's current effect of being instant or if you want to go the normal route the delay is 6/3/0 seconds. Thus if they aren't camping the killer isn't punished for it and 15 seconds will tell survivors who is or isn't going for the hook.
Edit: Right I got confused with Kinship and Kindred. I still generally stand by what I said. I suppose you could give it's aura killer read effect to Kinship as an instant effect rather then having the delay. Just occurred to me though that I don't think aside from Kinship that there is a single perk that delays hook progress to make camping less viable.

They cant code survivor running around as "going for the save". But yes, a status showing on Gen, a status showing in chase.
Though seeing 2 other on Gen, you spend 20sec running to the hook only to see killer is camping, then you spend 20sec running back to your Gen.

The biggest problem with cammaraderie is that others dont even know you have it. An icon next to your name would do wonders. Same with power struggle and perks like that

Hell I do even think 32m permanent aura reading is OP even with requirement of two perk slot and a hooked survivor.

It’s more, the survivors should see each other’s locations and be able to tell what each one is doing.
Example:
The survivor closest to the hooked survivor, should be the one to go for the save.
Fursthest survivor, maybe should stay on gen.
See survivor that went for the save running away from the hooked survivor? Assume they are being chased

Kindred + Open-handed isn’t that common. Solo players usually run Kindred by itself.
With this change, if survivors would want the same effect, they would still need to run Kinship (Camaraderie) + Open-Handed, so not a lot is changing.

If we make an aura reading perk basekit then what's the point of the current info perks we have ?
Aftercare exists for a reason and it is a great perk in SoloQ if you're a altruistic survivor and always go for the unhooks and heal your teammates it can be quite effective the only downside is that you lose the effects when getting hooked which is okay imo.
If you make Kindred aura reading basekit then all the info perks survivors have are useless.
and to not mention that having Kindred basekit can be quite strong at Mid-High MMR where even some solos players can be coordinated and will go trades while others stay on gens.(even without seeing the Killer's aura Kindred is a powerful perk not to be underestimated.)
Here is something I would suggest make the loading screen like DBD Mobile where you can see what perks are your teammates running this is a fair change and will help SoloQ alot it will encourage interactive/coordinated plays.
Imagine I am playing Cheryl with Soul Guard the killer is slugging me on the ground with the gates opened he's respecting my DS and will wait 1 whole minute for it,now since my teammates know which perks I am running Zarina comes in with For the People making a huge clutch play,the killer hits me and did not respect SG we both get out beceause of this nice coordinated play.
By making Kindred basekit info perks like Bond and Aftercare will be useless,Kinship/Camaraderie will be useful if Survivors know which perks you're running.

I think a fair aftercare buff would be to either not lose the aura reading or have more ways to gain it

Well, but it means your teammates where looking at their screen while loading (some people do something else while waiting to enter the game), and remember who has which perks.

is just the best idea. it solves multiple Problems and doesnt seem crazy OP in any sense.
Giving SoloQ Basekit Kindred (without the Killers Aura) is just the same as playing SWF and having Discord/Teamspeak. So its not even a crazy Buff.
Also the idea with Kinship is Genius, It gives (again) the same Information as SWF (calling out the Killers Position) while also revealing a Perk to your Teammates.

I agree because solo survivor sucks at times, but at the same time, I will definitely be sad if all survivors worked as efficiently as swf, because I hardly ever enjoy matches where the survivors are efficient. Though definitely agree so I am super conflicted, but I play survivor more nowadays since I am prestiging them, so yes definitely solo buffs give me.

I also do something else while waiting for the game to load in,but if they add this on the loading screen I am sure people will pay attention,being able to see your teammates's perks before the match starts will be a huge buff to SoloQ.
Perks like Deliverance Kinship Soul guard will be used more often and these are the perks you should remember as they can be game changing dont really care if your teammate is running Wake Up or any exhaustion perks.
By doing this the SoloQ experience will be improved and we'll get to see more perk variety.

The core gameplay loop of DbD is not deep enough to account for every survivor having peak SWF strength.

Not at all. I'm glued to Kindred just because of this, to see that someone is camped, or show everyone that i'm camped (which is extremely often). All other applications are secondary, just to save time.

I always vote for "Amandas Letter" being basekit for Pig. It would help make her stand out and allows for so many scummy, little jumpscares, while also helping her mindgaming the darn ambush attacks.

Yes this way I have receipts when I ask my teammates post match why they weren’t doing any gens while I was being chased OR you-know anything at all.
This way I can also calculate if only one or all of them are crouching and I need to go for the save.
I am pretty sure being able to show everyone’s auras is going to force those teammates to optimize the objective and commit to a gen or take a hit fit the teammate on death hook. I am sure of it. /s

Yeah, playing solo is pretty miserable right now. Any crumb of buffs to solo will help out a lot.
