Prove Tyself is becoming meta (you can see the trend now) and even with 90 seconds of gen time (in the future), games will be over faster than you can watch.
You can already see it now. Games don't last 5 minutes anymore.....

Devs updated Deja Vu to give a 5% repair bonus + Overzealous with a repair bonus that doubles if the survivor cleanses a hex totem.

That´s true. The best way is to combine it with Streetwise, a toolbox with add-ons, Build to last and so on. Then you will be even more satisfied. I'm afraid the developers will need another 2, if not 3 years to finally understand what's going on.

The response to higher gen times absolutely should be survivors distributing more of their limited resources towards perks and items that improve gen speeds. That's the trade-off that's happening to deprive them of one or two extra healing / chase related perks per lobby.

But do you know the stuff you can do in the extra 10s for a gen? like... you can even walk from one gen to another or even check a locker.

Yes, if you sacrifice over half your build, in specific circumstances, specifically cleansing a hex that may or may not be there (assuming no one else gets to it first and you never get hit, any more than one would be a dead perk), you may even out with the extra 50 seconds of gens you have to do.
I don't think this is the genrush update.

You just don't camp enough. You should camp harder. Lacking of camping leads to genrushing.
But seriously, I don't know how to comment this seriously. In all my matches as a survivor, 5 minute game is only in two cases:
a) killer facecamp and others just doing gens
b) killer facecamp and others trying to unhook victim and all die in a process
As a killer, I saw genrushers only twice, real genrushers, not what most players are talking about (when they apply 0 pressure and other three survivors freely do gens) . And real genrushers were 4 SWF with PT, toolboxes and BNPs. They literally did 3 gens in less than 2 minutes (also it didn't help one of such team). Only 2. So please.
So yes, I expect there will be a lot SWF gen builds now, just to be on par with new reality. SoloQ is f'd though.

Yep, survivors can now choose between a tank build, a running speed build, a healing build and a repair speed build.

I could see a particularly.. dedicated SWF getting mileage out of Overzealous by giving one guy the job of being the gen slammer who never gets found.

But I have serious doubts Deja Vu or Overzealous will see any actual play otherwise. Though honestly.. it does seem kind of cool to have an actual dedicated build in a team.
You're the gen doer, you're the runner, I'm the healer, ect.

Sounds like a better deal than everyone just running absolute max survivability to me.
I've been the healer for basically every single one of my games: WMI, WGLF, BT, and Empathy. Would be nice to see other people run something other than the "I don't die ever" build.

In a perfect world, we could see eachother's perks before the match, coordinate builds, and utilize some sort of chat wheel system to actually get some solid teamwork going.
My fingers are just as crossed as yours, man. It's why I run the "Jesus Christ stop dying" build.

They’d never show perks in the lobby. One time they showed ranks and removed it a day after because people were lobby dodging, same would happen with perks.

That's how it's on mobile. It has some nice things, which strangely aren't on the normal version.
We could definitely use those things too.

True, I recently even saw a Huntress and a Trickster working on a gen like there was no tomorrow. I wished they'd be more like the clown. At least takes his time and enjoyes it. smh

Looping got nerfed how? Shift + W for distance after getting hit got nerfed, and Iron Wills "stealth" is just being able to Shift + W away from any high wall loop randomly.
Though I agree sitting and glaring at a gen for 90 seconds is boring as hell. Personally I'd like an option where there were fewer skillchecks, but you did gens slower or something. Or maybe some kind of Technician Buff that'd let you semi AFK on gens without messing them up.

Spine Chill and Irol Will got nerfed and they were stealth perks.
Looping got nerfed because killers basekit chase got buffed (faster recovery from hits, bloodlust, breaking pallets faster).
You say sitting at the gen is boring, so you want to remove skill checks to make it even more boring and make the time even longer? Big brain moment

You find skillchecks "fun"? If the devs insist the only way to progress the game should be to sit next to a gen instead of looking around for parts or something, I'd at least want to not have to pay close attention to it.
Also, looping is the exact same. CHASE is nerfed. Not looping.

You do realise that the Archives, the tome, and the Masquerade event all have gen-related challenges atm, right?
Aside from that most killers are running Corrupt, DMS and Pain Res. So yes, survivors should do their gens in order to survive, that's the whole point of the game?! To stare at a progression bar whilst 1 or 2 loop the killer.

Exactly. So don't make a post whining about the slight buffs to killers regarding pallet breaking and melee swing cooldowns being responsible for you "not looping" when you aren't going to get into a chase if you don't have to anyway.

This implies that because of changes to "looping" which entails the buffs to killer swing cooldowns and pallet breaking, as well as the nerf to survivor on hit speed boosts are the cause of just sitting on a generator because "what else are you supposed to do" Well, not loop because that's been nerfed.
I don't think "genrushing" is a thing. If you don't force survivors off of generators, there's no reason for them not to just keep doing them and leaving. Only a sparse minority would want to look for the killer just to get into a chase if they didn't have a challenge for anything related to that.
I just eye roll at statements like this that imply that you're "genrushing" because Behaviours changes in the upcoming patch are going to "leave you no choice".

You forgot that genrush is also getting nerfed by 12.5% in this next patch. I guess we'll see a massive increase in killer queue times when this patch goes live.
