WHY IS STARSTRUCK NURSE A THING
i mean i am ok whit op ######### as long as i dont have dc penalty in games but this game has so why in hell is this a thing or nurses in general. nerf or remove nurse. even braindead monkey could get 4k whit nurse. nerf it or make it harded to use. or take dc penalty off.

Like, I agree that Nurse getting to use Exposed effects is generally too strong, but you're wrong on so many other levels that I can't agree with you on principle. If Nurse was as easy to use as you say, she wouldn't have the lowest killrate in the game despite her obvious power. Removing killers is a horrible idea. And for the last time, stop DCing against killers you don't like.

Startruck Nurse is okay.
Blink attack count as basic attack is not okay.

I don't think nurse is easy but I do agree that exposed on nurse is too overpowered. A killer that goes through walls shouldn't have an instant down
They should just make her attacks not an m1
11 -
It actually is ok, since she can't get hits otherwise. At least not if the survivors know how to use W.
1 -
Lmao it's strong because potato survivors like to do some stupid plays like body blocking her, or flashlighting which is what the perk was designed to counter.
If you was doing generators star struck wouldn't be an issue.
I don't think I've lost many times to a star struck nurse before.

The devs want to shake up the meta but will leave Nurse busted forever.

I agree, imagine if Legion could 1-shot through frenzy. Just because he is on his feet doesn’t make him any more BS than she is.
Nurse gets away with a lot at base already.

I think the only thing that can stop a good nurse is a bunch of DHs. Preferably in combination with Iron Will. Those 2 perks will arguably get nerfed. So.. with the upcoming changes, the nurse might be much harder to deal with. Obviously we need to wait and see how the DH change will turn out.

Have you tried not being in her terror radius for the 16 second window that the perk has to activate?
Just a suggestion!

even braindead monkey could get 4k whit nurse
Oh neat, let's see your nurse 4ks please, then. I'm sure it will be easy for you to show us just how braindead nurse is!
2 -
Show us your winstreak with nurse if she is "braindead".

Starstruck is the most counterable exposed perk in the game. You get exposed, and hold W away from the killer until it ends.
Do people really need to be told this?
0 -
Both are okay. Okay?
2 -
Not all maps and situations allow that though.
Also range addons + agitation is a thing aswell making it that much harder

Walk away, hide behind an object or in a locker, whatever you need to do. Starstruck can only surprise a survivor exactly once per match.
Starstruck’s exposed timer starts fading as soon as you leave the terror radius, or the killer drops the survivor. Apart from maybe - maybe - the aforementioned initial surprise, it only punishes greedy or careless survivors.

She has no info, just hide.

Against Nurse specifically, Starstruck feels oppressive because you have to hide the full thirty seconds *every single time* because of how quickly she can be on top of you. This is very painful because the only way to beat a (good) Nurse is to get the gens done before your team inevitably falls apart.
Basically, you're forced to choose between giving her a lot of slowdown by hiding and being useless or potentially going down because she blinked to the gen you were working on. Against other killers, even if they come to your gen, you at least have a chance to outlast the debuff.
I agree with some other people here that her attacks should count as special attacks. Sure, this means she can't use certain perks, but that's fine because she's Nurse. Her power ignores most of the standard rules of the game anyway. The main argument against this, that blinking is the only way she can get attacks in and it should therefore count as a basic attack, is technically wrong. It's possible to hit someone without blinking, it's just extremely unlikely.

It's really weird how people still don't understand why Blink attacks are counted as normal attacks.
It's not a projectile
It doesn't allow you to break pallets/walls
It's used solely for mobility on a killer with less movement speed than a survivor

I'm also not convinced that everyone complaining about starstruck would really rather see Nurses run only 4 gen slow down builds. That's a much less interactive, less counterable, more infuriating matchup.

Pentimento's Plaything for the interactivity and Pain Resonance's DMS for the noninteractivity.
It's fascinating how busted weak perks become on certain killers.
Forced Penance on the Twins, Iron Maiden for Trickster&Huntress and freaking Hoarder on Pinhead.

How does starstruck on nurse give you a DC penalty?
Surely you do that to yourself.
I’m ok with OP things as long as I can rage quit against them… clearly you’re not ok with OP things.
Another forum self awareness train wreck.

Nurse is not that hard to play, Hillbilly, Blight or Deathslinger are harder, the problem with her is either you get all or you get nothing, there is no in between, those 3 can still down people because they move at 115/110% speed so even a very inexperienced player who cant use their powers can still get something done as a basic M1 Killer, a bad Nurse cant really do anything because she just cant catch up to the Survivors until BL (which will lose after she tries to blink), thats why her kill ratio is low, because if you suck its a 4E almost always, while the others, if you suck you can at least get some downs and even some kills, but learning the blinks and landing them is easier than Blight or Hilbilly powers or using Deathslinger proficiently.
Onto the thread, if you get that kind of Nurse just go to a locker, spawn fast actions and just let her grab you, suicide and hop onto the next match, its better than eating a DC penalty.

And that is, in my opinion, the most fun part about this game. I play survivor with friends mostly, and once we identify the killer we're trying to figure out the perks they're running and the best ways we can win. The nuanced builds and how they interact with certain killers/maps is some of the most fun this game offers.

Nurse is already hard to use
By "even braindead monkey could win without effort" i think you mean survivor
0 -
she has low kill rates cos she is free killer and new players play her first whit out knowing about game at all. anyone who has over 100h can easily get 4k whit her
0 -
yeah people who like to play against op ######### can play but people who dont like it can dc xd simple as that. so i am ok whit it if theres no dc penalty :)
0 -
i am killer main top mmr but sure survivor mains can get 4k whit her easily too. just came from solo match where all 4 survivors just gave up soon as it was clear it was nurse nobody tried to even play the game :)
0 -
yeah you can do that in swf but try to do that in solo survivor game xdxdxdxd always one idiot atleast in team that gets tunneled in 1 min or other option that happens more often is everybody just suicides or dc :)
0 -
yeah first game in like 4 months as nurse still could easily 4k :) only one that gave me hard time was ironwill user but that will get nerfed soon too so enjoy next patch xd
0 -
maybe most users dont like playing against nurse so they dc and suicide on hook :) and arent video games supposed to be fun :O
