Simple solution to killers holding the game hostage

If a killer doesn't move for 30 seconds a survivor running into them can push them enough to get by. This gives killers enough time to counter a BT basement save or to chainsaw a cornered survivor, but makes holding the game hostage impossible.

A simple macro would easily counter this tho.

Then make it a certain distance they need to move, like with crows. Can be longer than 30 seconds.1

What about on some maps if you're preventing survivors from going down into the basement by body blocking it.
It's not holding the game hostage in that situation a really scummy form of basement camping yes but not taking the game hostage0 -
they consider that taking the game hostage if it goes into minutes. that has been put into print.3

If you have a hooked survivor in there body block the basement it is not taking the game hostage as long as no other survivors enter.
Hell, you are even allowed to stick someone with a reverse bear trap in there and wait up the timer as long as you immediately leave once the trap has activated and the survivor is dead if anyone else is stuck there too.1 -
Blocking the entrance stairs to the Basement to counter the activation timer of Borrowed Time .
- Also applies to a Pig trapping a Survivor with an active Reverse Bear Trap in the Basement until the Survivor's death.
- NOTE: Doing this for minutes or even hours to trap one or multiple Survivors falls under Holding the game hostage and is reportable and a bannable offence.
