why do i have to play bad on purpose??
everytime i run killer for 4 gens or till EGC, i have to get tunneled & camped.
and no i dont run DS in my builds.
it got so bad in my last game that everyone hopped off gens to body block but killer just slugs till he gets me?
"dont run me or be good at looping or ill tunnel & ruin the game for you since im bad at the game."
this game rewards bad gameplay & people who abuse horrible mechanics.

Victim of your own success. If the killer knows you're a good looper/difficult to catch, when they do, they're not just going to let you go.
You don't get to go free if you ran the killer for 5 gens and then got caught. You still got caught. If you wanted to go free, you wouldn't get caught.
I don't suppose you'd just let a killer hook you after he demonstrated their skill at downing your team mates quickly. You know, to reward the killers superior skill?

teammates werent looping, just jumping in front of me to body block because even they realized it was extreme.
but why should i accept this every time i want to loop? instead i have to play like a baby survivor in order to not tilt killer.

Half of the times where you get tunneled it isnt even tunneling from the killers view.
Ever thought of maybe you are out of position? Its your own fault if you dont watch out where you are standing.
You ran into him maybe, also not his fault, its a free down.
If you are on last hook, ez kill no point on letting you go for nothing.

To understand sometimes tunneling in your eyes isn't what the Killer sees. From what it sounds like because you looped him so much he wanted you out asap and your teammates made the mistake to try and body block giving the killer free slugs

There has been times I have been accused of tunneling or camping when I actually wasn't. I was accused of tunneling a single survivor but I actually never did I would break chase and let them go but I turn a corner and find them again, I already let th go once but if I find them again I'm chasing again.
Or accused of camping as Spirit when I hooked a survivor and with BBQ saw his teammates and went after them found one but saw the other was going for rescue I gave chase to rescuer they went left on a hill hook and I went right in phase and caught her before she unhooked. So in both cases in the Survivors eyes I was camping and tunneling but actually was not

It's a little bit of apples and oranges, imo. I'd never let a surv run me for 5 gens (even if they could, I'd drop chase long before it got anywhere near that point), but if they were clearly the best player on their team and tried to carry and I got the other three, I'd be more likely to let them go.
As a killer, sparing one surv is a lot more palatable than dying when you're a surv.
That said, if I am a surv and I carried my team and they all get out because the the killer was so tilted that they ignored everyone but me, that's a win in my book.

killer puts me on hook and scoots a little closer & just sits there & nods to me that i wont be getting away & it feels rlly bad when your under equipped bc it just feels like accept the punishment..

I won’t tunnel or camp unless I have like 0-1 hooks when all 5 gens are done. Usually those games survivors all hide from me and usually coordinate together to make plays I can’t respond to like flashlights or running boil over and body blocking me in hard to hook spots. It’s super easy to make a killer feel pressure and feel force to camp if you’re a good survivor.

The thing is, you are a victim of your own success. You are too dangerous to be left alive, literally. If you looped that killer that well, he just can't affort to let you off the hook and run free again.
This is a somewhat humerous take from my side, but the essence holds true. Same with the flashlight saves and bodyblocking the hook. Yeah, its fun, exciting and gives you a good feeling, but I think most survivors have no inkling of how dibiliating such a save actually is. You chase someone for 35s+ and then PUFF all gone, not even one hook. Same here, if I got 8 hooks when the 3 gens pops I dont mind at all if the game ends in a 4E, because it was a fun game.
But if its down to 2 gens and I only got 1-2 hooks, because the survivors can't allow the killer to feel even the faintest of success? Then don't expect any mercy, anti-tunneling laws be damned!
Thing is that especially the regular SWFs have become so good that they are unimaginable oppressive and you cant have a cute, lil game with them. Some of them can run any loop so utterly perfect that they can greed each and every pallets, and this feels just so wrong. Pallets were once thought of the amuniton of the survivors: they got a full mag at the start, but got to use them in order not to die, and in the endgame they are all gone and everywhere is a dangerous dead zone. Nowadays good survivors greed all pallets and suddenly there is no ammunition expended anymore and the killer feels the whole game as if they went with a knife to a gunfight.

I never equipped Meta perks besides BT or IW but I have started removing BT for Prenatal Guardian because that gives better benefits when you do a safe hook rescue.
But when a Killer does that I hold on as long as I can because I know as long as he's camping thats more gens that could be getting done. So I do yoga while on the hook to let the others know hey Killer is camping babay face.....but there were times I deserved to be camped because let's face it....after 8 continuous pallet stuns with a flashlight stun after....I don't blame the Killer to camp me into death

i feel we"re talking about two different things.
and your solution sounds like to just run killer all the way out the exit gate when that unrealistic to expect on a consistent bases.

Sometimes it's also BHVR's fault for now letting the killer see how many hooks a survivor has. I don't always keep track of who I've hooked and who I haven't...specially when survivors are running the same skin.
I understand that BHVR doesn't want killers to see hook count in order to theoretically avoid tunneling, but people INTENTIONALLY tunneling are going to be keeping track of that, anyway.
A better solution, imho, is when you bring a survivor up to a hook, you can see how many hooks they've been on just before placing them on the hook. They are already about to be hooked, but it at least gives the killer a chance to decide AGAINST hooking them for those cases where killers try to actively avoid tunneling.

the title of this post is exactly what i ask to myself everytime i as a killer end the game too fast, hooking all the survivors and still get depipped.

The reality of the situation is that the killer is throwing the match for one kill. It doesn't reward bad gameplay at all in that case. Because they only get 1 kill. The counter is for your team to just play well and get out, the killer will eventually learn that this strategy doesn't work as a result. It's unfortunate for you but overall you are helping your team get out and the killer will only have one kill. It's fine.
Also I'd just use DS if this is a common occurrence for you. Some might view the perk in this or that way but playing to win is nothing to be ashamed of.

So general advice. Do not taunt the killer. Its really stupid how far 80% of killers will go to make your experiance terrible the minute you teabag or gesture. Reasonable killers will ignore you but there a lot of egos in dbd. Good killers will drop chase if your doing well but you need to get your mmr up to see that.
Survival is not the only hallmark of skill if your getting killed messing up a killers game by looping them like chumps take pride in it. Victory isnt indivigual survival its the teams overall survival. I would take a single game of brillaint looping and being tunneled/camped if it meant i got one or two great chases. Over ten games of reapairing gens and surviving.
Most importantly do nit give up buy as much time as possible it shouldnt be the communities job to correct tunneling and facecampijg killers but unfortunatly it is. Never give them a win.

I only tunnel that hard when they're asking me to. I had a match last night where everyone brought a flan, so I was going to get my two hooks and let everyone live to keep their invitations and get the most out of our shared flans. In comes the clicky clicky teabaggers, so I hooked the worst one and face camped them to death, and the other I downed after failed attempts at body blocking from the other survivors after exit gate was opened. I picked them up and dropped them inside the gate so they could crawl their way to safety.
I am petty yet merciful and generous.
I firmly believe tunneling is a useful strategy, but tunneling for six plus minutes just means they're tilted.

Sadly if 4 or 5 gens have been done by the time a killer gets his first hook, of course he's gonna camp. He's already lost the game so all he can do it try and confirm his 1 kill. If I'm silly enough to chase the same person for so long and gens fly before I can get the hook I usually camp because it's all I have left at that point.

well i cant check hours since im on PS4 but im willing to bet theres people who have over 1000s of hours who still get ran for all five gens.
this is not exclusive to baby killers when majority of killers do it as well.

Yup I asked the Killer at the chat if he enjoyed camping me out and he respond yes so much so that I got marshmallows to watch you die lmao. That's about the only time I camp too if it's just that one survivor that blinded me 30 million times or is just a clicky click player....they hold a special place in the Entity's heart for those type of players lol

If what you are saying its correct then you absolutely dunked on them, looping for that long without the get out of jail card that is dh is pretty skillfull, and you probably hurt their ego so the only thing they tought they could do was to tunnel you or camp, but fam you absolutely destroyed that player, you won that match.

You're at low to low intermediate MMR if that's happening frequently. Any Killer that doesn't know when to drop chase is not high MMR. I'm not saying you should be at that MMR or what MMR you should be at since I don't know you. However, if Scott Jund still has his video up about accidentally bullying low MMR Killers it's a good watch.
Since MMR just measures kills/escapes and not what you do for your team an altruistic survivor who is willing to sacrifice themselves for the team can end up at low MMR even though they would have been purple or red ranks under the Emblem system.
I've had games myself where me and another survivor have gotten three gens done by ourselves (since the other two were dead) and escaped. Realistically, that killer should have never been put against us as two survivors dead at 3 gens left should be an auto win for the Killer. It's not common but it has and does happen. It's one of the issues with such a binary MMR rating and I'm guessing it's also why my games tend to be extreme: either 0 to 3 hooks and a 4E or a 4K with gens still up.
TLDR: Improve your MMR if you want to find Killers that will drop chase if needed

exactly.. measuring escape & kills is so flawed & has to many variables but honestly they went with the easiest way to make an MMR system. the altruistic survivor/ good ones always die since theyre always interacting or they just dont care about escaping and are willing to trade during EGC.
improving personal MMR is hard in soloQ :((

i get that its a win since they did waste the whole game on me but my main problem is that MMR will keep me in these lobbies...
i just want fair & balanced matches, to much where its one side running through the other. :/

Why does that bother u tho? I mean, I have fun in chases not in escaping tbh. So If I ran a killer for 3 or 4 or even 5 gens I’d die happily knowing I did my best and had fun doing so.
The thing is, no matter how good u are, there’s just a finite number of resources for u to use. While the killer will always have their M1. And trust me, the better u are at chases the more you’ll get facecamped and tunneled when they finally get u. It’s a form of flattery really

fact is that the killer doesn't have much choices at this point, if you wasted his time for allowing the other survivors to do 4 gens, you already did your job (as killer you need someone out from the game asap if you want have some chances, hence why killers tunnel... this is a gamble btw cause if you find someone able to loop you'll loose the game and you'll be forced to focus on a single survivor to get at least 1 kill). you see, the problem isn't you that must play bad on purpose, it's the game itself that with his mechanics support those kind of plays

This is exactly why mmr should work based off number of players escape instead of just if you escape. If I run a killer and the 3rd gen pops my first thought is "I'm getting camped".

Doesn’t have many choices? Bruh, how about not wasting such a long time on ONE survivor? As Killer u should ALWAYS go for the weak links not for the looping pros. Yet, for some prideful reason the killer gets all rilled up and insists on the mistake of wasting his time on a single person the whole match. Just out of spite I take it.
also, its not a gamble ??? Like if it took more than 20 secs to get ANYTHING from that player u should move on to another not waste the whole game on them. There are 4 players in any given match, not all of them are good at chases, find that player.

Weak link doesn't exists in plenty of matches, so no, you are just wasting time by doing "switch" unless you break pallets and such.

this is the average killer experience at high mmr (especially if you don't play with nurse and/or blight, without mentioning that you won't find a weak link and even if you did it's sufficient throwing down pallets to waste the killer's time): did a chase who last in a reasonable time and hook the survivor, 3 gens pop. at this point you don't have much choice if not securing a kill before the last gen pop and maybe get a second survivor during the endgame
