BHVR, it's time to stop releasing new maps...
And rebalance, rework, and fine tune your old/current maps. Look at the new maps we've gotten. Eyrie of Crows is terrible, Garden of Joy is even worse, especially with the janky hitboxes on the map and strong windows. RPD is also pretty terrible, being a massive map with limited ways to traverse upstairs, extremely difficult to find people, and quite a few safe pallets.
Another example is Gideon Pallet Factory. The map has so much potential to be good, but nope, it's safe pallet after safe pallet after safe pallet. Being any killer that m1s is just a death sentence for this map, and playing killers with chase powers often just leads to pre-dropped safe pallets that you can't play around with the downstairs having high walls and the upstairs having objects that protect you from getting hit by any kind of ranged attack for the most part.
Don't get me wrong, I love new maps, I was ecstatic over RPD, not to mention the map itself is absolutely gorgeous and makes me feel like I'm in Resident Evil. But holy crap it's absolutely awful to play on. One of the biggest problems with balance right now is just mediocre or bad map design. Will fixing the maps fix every killers problems? Of course not. Nurse is a prime example of this. Or just a poorly designed/outdated killer like Twins or Myers. But in general it would make the game more fun for both sides.

TLTR but its time to stop having 15 versions of same map.
Would be okay if
Each map have certain chance and if that map is chosen one ver of that map is chosen.

Well, they dont need to rework maps too much, just change generator spawns a little. Eyrie kinda needs a hitbox check around twigs, but Garden of Joy is fine. RPD needs better generator placement. In terms of approaching and chase its relatively fine, its literally chasing people off gens thats near impossible on RPD.
The Game, and this might be a hottake, honestly quite balanced. Its an extremely boring map to play on, which often leads to frustration, which leads to more mistakes being made. In fact, the update might make The Game a lot more interesting to play on since its easier to continue chase and easier to get rid of pallets. There have been like 10 exceptions over the course of 100 games on The Game where I absolutely got destroyed. But there have been 25 where I absolutely destroyed. 35 total games where I lost(including the 10 games I was obliterated), 55 games that I won and 10 games where it ended up being a tie. The times I was absolutely destroyed often included at least 1 person with 7000 hours and at least 1 person with BNP and 2 commodius toolboxes. Ofcourse full meta perks, but those were pretty consistent over all 100 games. This was without using any perks like Blood Favour or Dissolution, this was purely using abilities and knowing where pallets are gone so I could push survivors that way. The average amount of gens done was 4.5, which is higher than the average 3 gens on most maps, but it didnt really matter. If the average of gens done is less than 5, that means 1 and 2k's escapes were less common than 3 and 4k's.

idk im pretty sure right now realms with only one map have a higher chance but multimap realms sub maps all have a smaller chance to balance it

Surely its like this:
RPD 3%
500 map of Ironworks of misery 0,7% each
you get what i mean?

Isint that how it should work? Also there is only one ironworks

i just wish they stopped making grass and trees maps lol i want maps that are completely different from each other, i liked the artist map cause at least its visually different

We need more maps, just better made ones.
At this point maps are the more interesting thing, chapters seem to be so similar and just make old chapters outdated and bad

Sadly it’s also badly staged. Basically just running through a huge WW1 trench system with a tower in the center of it.

LOL now that you say it like that i cant unsee it hahaha they need to step up their map design department, like where the hell is that trickster menu design at? now that would be a great map!

if only the Eiry didn't shut down Trappers power. Sure, you can trap the windows of the main building, but these are easily spotted and disarmed. And basically everywhere else the traps stick out like a sore thumb. Poor 'ol Trapper.

Even after the 6.1.0 update, M1 killers will still struggle due to a map full of loops that are too safe and have no mind games.
I think devs should review all maps since the farm and asylum rework.

RPD just needs to have multiple variations where one side is blocked off depending on which one you get to make it smaller. It's fine as is as well though.

Anything in that map can be spotted miles away... it's a lot better when you go into Freddy's dream world

all maps should be at night time and that would help with his traps as well, make it so they automatically blend in with the floor of the map maybe? i dont mind buffing his traps visual wise
