Why do we survivors...

...get a HUD notification telling exactly when Dead Man's Switch's effect is going to end, but killers have to count in their heads when BT and DS are going to end? Sounds kind of patronizing to me. If killers can use their heads to count the perks of up to 4 people, then I think we should be able to do the same with just one perk. Why are we being insulted like that?

weird isn't it?

Because the devs hold the survivors hand and walk them out the exit gates

You're reaching.

Guess my hud is different, I dont have the effect (debuff) telling me when exactly it is ending it only tells me once the debuff is gone.

These aren't really comparable. But I wouldn't give a single ######### if they removed the notification for survivors.

so you want to know everytime if/how long a survivor has borrowed time so you will never waste a hit? Dead man's switch is like 45 seconds, killers can't count to 8?. I could care less if there was a perk notification in the HUD, but killers shouldn't get to see if a survivor has BT/DS and know when it wears off. Defeats the purpose. For dead mans switch, survivors dont get to know the killer has it until we see it. then there's nothing survivors can do about it. Then they have to wait it out. So what if they know when, so much time was wasted, huge value for the killer. Even moving forward, survivors knowing the killer has it, they can still be forced off gens. These are in no way comparable but ok XD

Yeah, I think that's the difference, you're not supposed to know certain perks until they've effected you. DMS countdown begins after you know the killer has the perk.

Survivors only see DMS once it's activated, just like killers only see BT once they hit the survivor and see the endurance. For the latter, once you hit them the effect is gone. For survivors, we still need to wait out DMS. There's nothing we can do to deactivate it. I feel like they're not really comparable..
