Why do we survivors...

...get a HUD notification telling exactly when Dead Man's Switch's effect is going to end, but killers have to count in their heads when BT and DS are going to end? Sounds kind of patronizing to me. If killers can use their heads to count the perks of up to 4 people, then I think we should be able to do the same with just one perk. Why are we being insulted like that?

Because the devs hold the survivors hand and walk them out the exit gates

Guess my hud is different, I dont have the effect (debuff) telling me when exactly it is ending it only tells me once the debuff is gone.

These aren't really comparable. But I wouldn't give a single ######### if they removed the notification for survivors.

Yeah, I think that's the difference, you're not supposed to know certain perks until they've effected you. DMS countdown begins after you know the killer has the perk.

Survivors only see DMS once it's activated, just like killers only see BT once they hit the survivor and see the endurance. For the latter, once you hit them the effect is gone. For survivors, we still need to wait out DMS. There's nothing we can do to deactivate it. I feel like they're not really comparable..
