Green glyph challenge should never be in game again

Or at least massively reduced, I am trying to complete it for around 30 games now, and still at 9/12, this is just too much, I can't even guarantee at least 1 glyph from game because they are being collected by others most likely, and even at EGC if there are some left, I simply can't just walk to them and collect, because killer is close or glyph is way too far.

It took me maybe 10 matches at most. I have really good headphones though, so I can hear them from far away, maybe that's your issue. Not saying go out and get better headphones, but maybe they're just too hard to hear for some.

Please don't ask for that. The last times we asked to never see challenges again it was "unhook someone who unhooked you earlier" and "hide near the killer doing ######### all" and now we get them every level of every tome.

For real though, I hate "Blood Debt" with a burning passion. This challenge can burn in the deepest reaches of hell for all eternity and I would rejoyce.

In my opinion, all Glyph-Challenges can go. They are super-boring and most of the time "Play X amount of games". If I have to commune with 4 Red Glyphs, this means I have to play 4 games.

The worst offender is the blue Glyph. It gives you a small Debuff after finding it AND you have to escape. So it is "Play at least X amount of games"...

I prefer challenges which are harder, but can potentially be done in one game compared to those which just require me to play. But knowing BHVR, we will have a new color of Glyph in the next tome..

I also don't like the emblem challenges, as there is no way to speed them up/gain multiple stacks in one game, and you could very much dont get any at all. 15 iridescend emblems sometimes take for ever. But a few of this padding quests will always be needed.

    Give us new challenges!

    [Insert glyph challenges]

    No wait, not like that!

I don't have an issue with them. Play killer if you're struggling on survivor.

Green glyphs are really easy to find as killer but take forever as survivor. I've had many matches as survivor in a full SWF where I only find 1 or no green glyphs at the end of the match, even when the EGC triggers I often don't see any auras and everyone else in my group didn't take any of them. But if I play killer? I find like 6 in one match lol. So it just taught me to keep my expectations low as a survivor and just play killer if I want to finish it fast.

I prefer white glyphs personally, they're super easy to do AND give a bloodpoint bonus if you leave the match with it (which you can just drop it and come back for it later at the end of the match)

The issue with Green Glyphs is it's not entirely clear how they work. Once I figured out how they worked, it was much easier to do from the survivor perspective.

The description doesn't state this clearly, but they work like so (this is assuming you are the only person in the match who has the challenge active): For each generator you personally complete (finish, not do 80 seconds worth, so you can top off a 99% generator), a green glyph will spawn where a totem can spawn. So if you don't finish a generator the entire match, you will not see any Green glyphs spawn. If you personally finish 4 generators, 4 green glyphs will spawn.

If you're a killer, it's 1 Green Glyph per hook up to I think 5 or 6. Therefore it's MUCH easier to do as a killer.

Again, I don't know if this is intended, but that's how it works when you're the only person who has the challenge active.

I don't know the clear interaction when multiple people have the challenge active, but I think so long as those who have the active challenge do their objectives (hook or finish generators), then you share the amount that spawn, i.e. if both a killer or survivor share this challenge, then I think the killer can hook a survivor and you can find a glyph without personally finishing a generator.

Pink Polka Dot Glyphs - Must Sniff the Butt of the Killer for 100secs while carrying a super fragile glyph and head to a dangerous place....note must remain 5m from the killers butt at all times.

Yes, some Challenges which need multiple games have to exist, this is true.

But at the very least there should be a way to speed them up. e.g. given getting 15 Iridescent Emblems in total is faster than getting 10 Iridescent Chaser Emblems. Or if I need to break 25 Pallets/Walls/Gens, I can use Map Offerings for The Game or Midwich to do it faster.

But if I read something like "Hook 20 different Survivors", this is just "play 5 games".

Yeah Glyph challenges are iffy because they basically read in many cases 'Throw the game by doing x instead of playing it'.

Any challenge like this needs to die a horrible death. Sniff the killers butt. Gone. Open treasure cheats. Gone. Cleanse totems. Gone. Blood pact should just be 'unhook safely'. Boring? Perhaps, but I think most people would rather boring then 'throw the game'.

If they want people to run certain perks and put them out of their comfort zone simply make them use the perks to complete. Like for example instead of chest opening make it require Plunders' Instinct, Pharmacy, Appraisal, Ace in the Hole or anything else that alters chests or enables rummaging. You may not open a single chest but running that perk would suffice, even if you don't escape. Probably would have to make the game last a set amount of time so people don't suicide on hook but honestly the way it functions people are committing suicide anyway.

In the end the tome challenges are there to, well, offer some kind of challenge besides the usual gameplay loop. And especially the master challenges can be quite fun at times. Just, blood debt is so UGH. Burn it,

I don't mind green glyphs, I just hate how Wraith can't get them when cloaked.

As Killer, it felt like the Green Glyphs were chasing me, nobody came to where I went they would spawn and pulsate at me. I thought it was the easiest glyph challenge so far, only 2 games.

Truth be told, I'd rather have the Green Glyphs challenges rather than any other colored Glyphs. Greens can stay, the other ones can go.

It's become clear the devs are not creating challenges for our enjoyment, but to basically force you to play more games and boost their numbers. I think I might skip the next tome.

I mean, yellow glyphs are fun.

Same for white one .... although that's mostly because that can give you 25K+ bp.

I don't like how long it takes to collect the green glyph as survivor. Already spending time looking for them, they shouldn't take so long to collect too.

Just play killer. I think it took me 3 games or so for the 4th level challenge. Not hard at all.

If they pop up during the game you grab them, and the rest you can get during the endgame when it tells you where the remaining ones are. One or two survivors may escape, but oh well.

I don't mind green glyphs. Like others have said, they're way easier on killer - you'll get 5-6 per game. Perhaps for survivor, they need to make the spawn conditions more generous, but I think mostly the issue is that survivors don't roam as much as killers do, and when they're on the move, they're often not in a position to get glyphs unless the killer decides to be friendly about it.

I'd rather have green glyphs than many other archive challenges. Hell, they're not even as tedious as cleansing x bones.
