Prestige or not to prestige
Should players prestige before mid chapter or wait it out? I have a few hanging around at 50

I would not prestige. The Reward is low and you will lose all Perks, Items and Offerings if you prestige now.
If you wait, you can at least keep those. (Which might be interesting for Flans, if you have a lot of them)

I don't recommend it honestly, the rewards aren't good so it's best just to wait it out

No don't. The reward you get for P3'ing your characters before the mid-chapter update is garbage.

I P3'd 9 characters during the event not knowing what the "special reward" was going to be. Had I known it would simply be glittery portraits that's not even reflected in the pre-match lobby or results screen I wouldn't have bothered. So much flan wasted lol.

If you have some characters hanging around P2 I would at least try to get them to P3 before the update, but I wouldn't go out of the way to take a character from P0/1 to P3.

im a completionist myself so i did it, doesnt mean is the smartest option consdiering the rewards are meaningless, BHVR never gave us any reason to do it and definitely not giving it now neither.

Yeah, the reward doesn't justify the sacrifice, now that we've seen what the "reward" is.

Is it seriously the sparkling portraits? A reward so special that BHVR had to give an option to turn it off.

Seriously, it looks like some garbage filter a 12 year old would put on their FB profile pic.
Ultimately I am not terribly bothered by it, and I don't like to criticize over minor stuff, but I had no expectations at all and somehow I am still disappointed.

The reward is non existent really. I'm glad I only ever prestiged a single character for the achievements. Had I been grinding for them when the "reward" was announced I'd have been pissed.

IMO this is the way that made the most sense - if you have a main, prestige them. But dont do more.
I already had everyone prestiged, because I am a completionist. But if I would not had everyone prestiged, I would not have given up all Perks, Items and Add Ons for prestige.

Don't prestige. Just get as many perks as you can on the ones you want all perks for, that way when the change goes through you'll have all perks tier 3. Anything beyond that is pointless

Wait it out. All you get is glitter... and whats worse? Only glitter you cant show off... I want to show of glitter if things are gonna glitter, you feel me? LOL
