No one here is talking about pig and trapper, some killers being weak dont justify her being a broken mess.
And no, I have never seen a TOP nurse struggle against a TOP swf (from the tournaments i have seen) Solo players are not refusing to adapt, it's just nurse is uncounterable in solo. You just seem to blinded by bias, just like DH users used to defend this broken mess of a perk

Yes that is my opionion and as i told in pregame chat (Lobby) quite a lot share this point of view. That many just endure and accept an rid. op killer does not mean they follow you. And i explained in details why nurse is op. But you can watch the vid Gratxia posted and read the comment below. Then you will see its probably not a minority. And the more you write the more i get the feeling nurse is your main killer when you play killer.

These aren't excuses, no matter how hard you try to frame them as such. Nurses, mine included, lose all the time when matched against survivors of proper skill and coordination. We also win all the time when immature survivors DC and spoil the efforts of their team.
The difference between Nurse and Spirit is that the Spirit trolls were wrong, and she was nerfed. These strategies that the Nurse players recommend in every one of these damn threads do work, all the way up to comp. They're the very same tools we use to beat Nurses when we're playing survivor.

If that's your argument it's not worth taking seriously. I responded to the vid Gratxia posted, it was a poor example.

In the second video, it's illustrating a point many of us try to make. In the first couple minutes alone: survivor is for whatever reason still on a 50% gen when the Nurse is within 15m of her (after Infectious proc'd no less), proceeds to get hit over a window on a basic attack, and then runs back into the Nurse. A series of genuinely awful plays. You have to play well on survivor to escape Nurse. That doesn't mean she's broken, but it unfortunately makes her a bit unique.

Eh, even then if it was 2 hooks, 10 seconds is meh, heck I never get hit by it because I never tunnel personally, but I think they could've definitely given survivors the 2 hook now, it's 6 seconds total

Spirit trolls are just the same nurse players. And if those pretty easy to master strategies work, why do nurses still 4k and when people apply them they dont work? If those strategies work why is nurse still the 4k stomper of tournaments?
And if u lose against players of "same skill" as yours, maybe you're not as good as you think you are?

I guess the nurse won because those survivors were "bad" seems to be nurse is the only killer you're not able to do mistakes, yet she's able to do so and gets little to no punishment. If u want "Great" survivors vs a great nurse then here it is (even tho I said I wasnt going to post 0.1% vids)

It's just so fun to watch nurses defend her like if they're gonna lose their family, yet she's probably getting nerfed because people refuse to play against her (which I dont agree with, cause everyone deserves to play, but it's understable)

Nope, not blind by bias. I main survivor 98% of the time and can't even play Nurse due to the fact that the loss of camera control and screen darkening during her fatigue cause me to get migraines. I tried her three times and had to go lay down and close my eyes a bit.
Perhaps it's just your bias that blinds you to the fact that Nurse is fine in the current game. And as I said, the game shouldn't be balanced around bad players, it should just make sure bad players are put up against similar skill.

You're dipping a little too far into the vindictive and petty for me to continue this. I fully anticipate Nurse's ranged add-ons will get nerfed, and I don't care, I don't use them.
The forum is already spammed, so I guess it will be business as usual.

If u actually played nurse and stacked the op addons or stupid builds on her u would know how broken she is.

Where? Because every time I come here, the majority of topics are of survivor mains calling for some massive nerf to a killer they hate or complaining about perk changes and calling the update killer sided while every rational, logical person sees all this complaining and crying and then sees the absolute madness that is the PTB right now. Some of the killer perk buffs need to be toned down, but while those can be pinpointed to a particular area, survivors are literally building circus tents and selling tickets.
Don't get me wrong, the endurance stacking is hilarious to watch, but it's also absurd. Just give honest feedback of changes, stop embellishing facts, stop using a lack of skill or situational knowledge as a justification for nerfing a killer you probably couldn't even get one hook with.

Hopefully She's getting nerfed. I'm fine with her basekit but some perks and addons should be nerfed on her ASAP.
Nurse mains are just way too good at lying thats why she has survived these 6 years, remember when they tried to sell us starstruck is a meme perk on her? lmao

The difference between you and these Nurse mains is that while you cry into the void, they will literally bend over backwards to try and help you if you're looking to improve. You can bring a camel to water, something something, sometimes that camel is just stupid as hell.
Also, calling me a liar repetitively does not spark the reaction you think it sparks. I understand your need to frame things so that you can feel better about these interactions, but it really is petty.

Again, these videos are not proving the points you think they're proving. I actually know Alf. He was Oracle's back up Nurse for a bit. In other words, a professional Nurse player, or as close as one gets in terms of DbD. One of the best Nurse players in the world.
This is a public match featuring a genuine god Nurse and pub survivors. My point being, cherry picking individual games does not illustrate the overall balance of a killer on a meaningful level. The devs don't balance based on a few games here or there. It takes thousands of well-made matches to draw a conclusion, and we have never been given amy indication that Nurse is some kind of balance anomaly across all MMR brackets.

Honestly one of my largest issues with Nurse is hit validation, how she hits you before she even shows up if they have a trash connection, but that extends my issue with killers in general atm is just how we can't avoid high ping killers, and I feel that also skews balance a bit as well since the game is never consistent.
More on topic however, I'd just make her m2 not trigger m1 perks for one, and make her stunnable more consistently in her power (as she immunes stuns with her animations half the time) and make her lose her stacks when stunned. She'd still be strong despite these changes too lol

I have issues with the hid validation from the other side. I blinked, went to lunge around one of those barrels that are on fire, and 'hit-dressing' locked me in straight on the barrel and clank! Survivor goes running off into the distance.
Of all the changes they will never do, I believe they will never do M2 being a special attack the most. I'm totally fine with her being more stunnable.

Killer mains would be in for a very bad reckoning if they actually had to play a high-skill multiplayer game and not one as comically imbalanced and easy as DBD. There is not a single killer main that would succeed at the highest levels of a game like Fortnite whereas any 12-year old at Champs woudl dominate this game in a month. You guys are full of yourselves.

I've been playing for a long time now, before the current MMR and I have faced plenty of strong Nurses since matchmaking never worked. I didn't blame the Nurse for my side losing, I blamed Behaviour and their terrible matchmaking and my own terrible skill at the game.
And just to make this clear, I'm not saying that Nurse shouldn't ever be changed. I am saying as long as Sweaty SWFs are a thing and Devs refuse to balance the game around them and make maps more fair, she shouldn't be touched. If they finally decided to put in the resources and rebalance the map and balance around SWF with communication, then they definitely should rework the Nurse. They shouldn't touch her before they do that.

I love how the video provided is just speculating and even they say they doubt Nurse is actually stopping any changes from being made unless she was being used as a reference point. Did you even watch the video lol?
Also the literal video you provided shows a tournament Nurse failing to secure more than 1 kill lol.. you cant make this up.

You're asking, as a Nurse main, to be "properly buffed" against solo queue. Show me the example of the killer main that goes over to Apex or Valorant and plays at a competitive level. It's common for Fortnite players, because the META is skill-based and it bypasses a lot of the playerbase in time. That's why I moved on to DBD, it's easy in comparison.

it definately happens to both sides, I'm being dramatic about one side atm, it's never consistent and I have 50ms on both sides whenever it happens, issue usually stems from someone with a chaotic/high ms connection. Sometimes hits just whiff into a quick hit and sometimes it feels like when you hit a survivor they rubber band to where they actually are (you hit a past version of themself thats corrected to their actual location), it makes playing the game based on reaction very very hard.
As for the m2, it is a bit heavy handed yeah, but it's more of a if they had to do something that took the least effort idea. As a nurse player myself, I'd be upset if they killed a lot of her synergy..
I'm glad you agree about the stunning, no idea sometimes even when I charge blinks I immune the stun, not even my exhausted state.

I (incorrectly) assumed that my comment was easy to understand based on the contents of this thread and the message I was responding to.

2 stacks of STBFL, 10 more seconds to gens, a nerf to survivor's speed boost after injury, tier 1 Brutal, and a slight basekit buff to kicking gens is more than sufficient against solo queue. Solo queue gets the short end of the stick in this game and it's not just because they're all bad. A killer main who has complaints against solo queue, they wouldn't stand a chance in a game that requires more meaningful skills than DBD.

Addons nerf, perk nerfs (Starstruck) but idk about the perks nerf cause it would affect other killers, but it's just too good on her.

There is a SLEW of things I would love to see done to Nurse that I know will never happen, and I think most people would appreciate them as fair changes from either side of the aisle:
- Better stun logic on pallets
- Better hit-dressing right out of blink (this really is an all killer thing but she feels it so bad and so do the survivors when it works against them)
- DS, especially now that it's 3 seconds only, really should force her to recharge both tokens (All 3 if she is the one nurse in existence that uses the Torn Bookmark)
- Longer fatigue less vignette and toe-staring. Seriously. What the hell is the point of making her power purposely clunky. Just increase the fatigue and let us see the map
- Several deadzones that vacuum her power on several maps still haven't been addressed
- Rework or reduce range addons, give her an extra meter or two on the blink so she doesn't feel goddawful on the biggest offending maps
- Rework or reduce her recharge addons, give a little bit of it back as basekit so she can feel like she can function without either of these addon branches
- Make the flashlight burn more responsive for the survivor, with a better indicator that Nurse can't blink (or can, if they're doing it wrong)
- Better 'cut-up' angle, meaning changes in elevation shouldn't be ignored just because you can only look so far up when you blink
The list really goes on. They recoded her, but there's still so many missed opportunities to make her more consistent for both sides.
Edit: I was being dramatic too, when I hit that barrel I screeched so damn loud even Nurse told me to chill.

I was not complaining against soloQ, and I don't know why you took it that way. SoloQ has a huge problem where the game has been made artificially easy for them because there are just so many damn potatoes. Both the potatoes and the artificial difficulty decrease need to go.

These changes are really good suggestions, I hope the devs catch a glance :D You have thought them through very thoroughly, it doesn't take away from her in the hands of someone playing her well, and it makes her more intractable too.

I understand the addon nerfs though I think she needs a complete addon rework cause she has way too many meme addons. As for the perk nerf, couldn't you just make her blink attack a special attack instead of an m1?
