A Killer Idea maybe...

The Occultist

Height: Tall

Speed: 4.6

Terror Radius: 24 meters

Power: Tendrils of Darkness

Hold the power button to place a Tendril Trap. Traps can be placed on walls, ceilings, and floors. When a survivor goes near a trap a tendril will emerge and grab them. Killer receives a notification when a survivor is trapped. Escaping the trap inflicts the Exhausted effect for 30 seconds. Traps next to pallets will hold a pallet when a survivor approaches it while in chase. Pallets being held by a tendril require 4 seconds to drop. Traps placed near vault locations will push survivors away while in chase. Maximum 8 Tendril Traps allowed on the map.

Perks:

Hex: Darkest Descent

Every 80/70/60 seconds the map grows darker and the fog thickens. Survivors are afflicted by Blindness. Killers FOV is increased by 15 degrees, and they can see the auras of all survivors. Effect lasts for 30/45/60 seconds.

Dread Visage: Survivors that look directly at you will scream and have their aura revealed for 3/4/5 seconds. Cooldown of 60/45/30 seconds

Pestilence: When a survivor is injured and not in chase they'll be swarmed by flies. Flies create a loud buzzing noise that can be heard from up to 8 meters away and reduce healing and repair speeds by 10/15/20%

I haven't come up with too many add-ons but I have some.

Common Add-On: Boneless Limbs: Replace tendril traps with Tendril Grab. Survivors that are grabbed by the Tendril can be slowly pulled in. Survivors that break free are afflicted with the Exhausted effect for 30 seconds (It's similar to Death Slingers power but doesn't damage survivors and doesn't need to be reloaded but there is a brief cooldown)

Rare Add-On: Unblinking Eyes: Replaces Tendril Trap with Sentry. Sentries can only be placed on walls or ceilings. Survivors that pass in front of a Sentry trigger a loud noise notification and reveal the survivor's aura while they are in the Sentry's FOV and for 4 seconds after they leave it.

Iridescent Add-on: Spined Tendril: Tendril Traps will damage healthy survivors for one health state but will not trap them and disappear after they injure someone

For appearance I'm thinking a woman wearing robes made from human skin and a metal helmet with two protruding spikes in front with a human face stretched across it like a mask. For weapon a short sword with the word Salvation inscribed on the blade. The words "Metus Dolor Mors Ac Formidinus" are carved on the front of the cloak and various words like "Die, Suffer, Hell, Burn, and Slaughter" are carved in random places on the back.

    I kind of like the idea of tendrils being used to affect the environment, how ever I think it should be purely used to trap Survivors in place, kind of like a weird Trapper/Hag hybrid (something that has the range of a Phantasm but the immobilizing effect of a Bear Trap.

    For add ons I really wished they explored more on add ons that unlock new abilities, similar to Freddy with Dream Snares and Pallets.

    The perks Im not really a fan of. (except for Dread Visage, that one is alright) These seem like they could be the base/theme to separate powers.

    Yeah I was trying to think of a different perk for Pestilence. I forgot to mention that the tendril traps can be destroyed with flashlights. Not only that but if a survivor gets near it the trap will lunge out and grab them. The struggle to break free would be similar to escaping Pin Head's chains So the traps would be like a cross between Trapper's bear traps and Pin Head's chains. I made Darkest Descent a Hex because it would have no real counterplay otherwise. If you think of a good perk to replace Pestilence that's themed around the killer let me know.

    The other Perk idea I had was Fanaticism: Upon starting a chase with a survivor move at an increased speed for 3/4/5 seconds. Speed increase is +0.2
